I think everyone can agree that 2020 was a tough year for all and one to remember. We learned about what really matters in life and to cherish the people around us.  To appreciate and thank the frontline workers who risk their lives everyday for us.  As well as how to adapt to the new norm-working from home, virtual learning for our kids, and wearing a mask out. 

I think we all can’t wait for a fresh start and new beginning for the New Year and a little escape from reality.  Please share your hauls for this month and what you look forward to this New Year!

My first Sephora haul of the year...

...that Canada Post kindly delivered on Sunday. Like, unless they *need* to work the extra days to clear the distribution centers, Sunday delivery is too much IMO. 

A restock on the SDJ and trying the Rare Beauty blushes. Wowzers they are pigmented. Caudalie toner for points, which was bigger than I thought it be. Three decent valued GWP.

One draw from tube did both arm swatches, my cheeks (too much) and my lips 😅. Definitely need a light hand.

Gorgeous shades on you @haleyvvvv !  I've been eying up a lot of Rare Beauty and you are selling it!

I actually like having CP deliver on weekends.... Now, I do hope that their staff are still getting days off for sure, but I find CP takes a long time generally, admittedly I live in Northern Ontario, so it's not like I'm in a major metropolitan area and things will naturally take longer.  But compared to my experiences with a US POBox... CP is slow.  Also wonder if they're behind still from Christmas and the outbreak in Mississauga?

Thank you, @missjeanie!! I'm glad my couch over-application is selling it, lolol. It is super pigmented, I need to do some more wear tests, but it hasn't migrated to my daily makeup area. 

I may be in the minority, but I don't mind if CP takes a little while, especially right now if it means that they can safely distance in distribution centres. I'm on Vancouver Island, and stuff takes a little while to get here, unless coming from Richmond (although since I'm in a city it's not bad compared to rural or Northern areas). But almost nothing I order is timely. They're definitely still backed up from Xmas, we just got out last packages last week and I'm sure the Mississauga outbreak isn't helping, since that's the major import hub.
