I think everyone can agree that 2020 was a tough year for all and one to remember. We learned about what really matters in life and to cherish the people around us.  To appreciate and thank the frontline workers who risk their lives everyday for us.  As well as how to adapt to the new norm-working from home, virtual learning for our kids, and wearing a mask out. 

I think we all can’t wait for a fresh start and new beginning for the New Year and a little escape from reality.  Please share your hauls for this month and what you look forward to this New Year!

Finally I have a moment to myself so I stopped by my favorite beauty community and ...LoVe all your wonderful hauls and BL bags posted in another thread. This is my latest including birthday gifts from Sephora, Missha and my friend-parfumier who sent me my preferable sizes of lovely Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca and Lemon Verbena ❤️ The hauls are from Missha, Sephora, BeautyHabit, SpaceNK, Chanel Direct, Fenty and Becca Direct. I have to say I love Becca’s new powder and face tint. Oh and that highlighter had never impressed me before but how stunning it is in person 😻And I had to get new By Terry palette with my home away from home Paris ❤️

@heartsmyface  Come on over! Playground is all yours 😺 You are correct the pink case is for P&J compact powder (any of them). The case is so gorgeous and I had a refill laying around “case-less” so that’s how I justified this purchase 🙄

@Zvezdochka Hey sis, haven't seen you for awhile 😉.  Beautiful haul, as usual!  The new BECCA Cosmetics Light Shifter Finishing Veil Setting Powder has been intriguing me since it released so I'm curious--what's the finish really like?  It sounds fab but I'd love to hear your thoughts.  And that By Terry palette is sooooo visually appealing!  I'd have trouble using it and disturbing the gorgeous embossing though, lol.

@CookieGirl1  Hey my favorite sister 😸 I was busy celebrating all the NYEs and Christmases around the world lol (still have a few left) I am really enjoying Becca powder. To answer your question below the thread: it does have a light blurring effect for me. And the luminousity effect is very natural: No shimmer just a beam of light. I know what you mean about the By Terry palette. As pretty as the colors are I don’t plan on using this palette much. It’s a piece of art that reminds me of home. And it’s a treasured reminder right now since I don’t know when I will be able to return there

@CookieGirl1  Oh I lived in the US for many years before moving to Geneva and later Paris. This time around I had to move back to the states temporarily because of my job. But the heart wants what the heart wants...

Great haul @Zvezdochka - I have been very curious about the new becca face power! Is it lightly tinted like the Charlotte tilbury one or mostly clear? Which shade did you get? Definitely curious to hear more of your thoughts!
