The 15% off Spring sale is around the corner... can I get a drum roll...
THE ROUGE SALE IS APRIL 18TH - 24TH!!! I HAVE THIS CONFIRMED
What's on your list?
PRODUCTS THAT ARE MAYBES...
Looking for some last minute advice 🙂 I have a 20% off from Neiman Marcus coupon code, so I'm trying to decide if I should get the new Nars eyeshadow palette there (save an extra $3) or buy it at Sephora for the points? I'd like to remain Rouge but it's not an end goal or anything. What would y'all do? I'm still going to place a Sephora order for a few other items.
If you can get a better discount elsewhere, do it. Something else to consider is whether you actually use (or plan to use) your Sephora points and if you want to ReRouge now as opposed to later.
Neither the points nor the status mean very much for me personally & I will buy an item elsewhere especially if I can get a better discount, good GWP, or some other bonus.
@JayJayyyIf you're from Canada, do an online purchase and use Ebates with Sephora! Right now they're having 8% cashback for Sephora! So the 15% off plus 8% back on the taxes and the cost of the order after the discount.
I'm not sure what the cashback is for Ebates in the states though.
@ElleElleG you are so right! And NM has so many other things Im interested in right now. And @kdanielle0x Ebates for NM is 6% in the states today, and only 3% for Sephora! Thank you for reminding me to check 🙂
@JayJayyyI just checked and Neiman Marcus has 4% cashback on Ebates.ca so that might be the better option.
Is the unicorn essence worth it?
@sultananatalie I returned mine. I loved the scent and how it felt but it gave me a really weird breakout.
ohhh that one might need to move to my Maybes list lol
Thanks!
Since my list is higher than a month's tuition for both of my kids, I guess I'd better pare down my list. 🙂
These are the top priorities:
Givenchy Le Prisme Blush, Hourglass Bronzer, Wander Beauty Blush/Highlighter, and Jo Malone Orange Blossom cologne.
@Ispend2much6 orange blossom smells so lovely. 🙂
@MariekeBT I'm very happy to hear that. I absolutely love the scent of orange blossoms in real life, and have even resorted to trying to use orange blossom water (the cooking kind) as a perfume but it doesn't work. 🙂 Plus, there's a brand from France that King Arthur Flour used to carry but no longer do, and it was divine.
Just a thought, but you may want to try buying neroli essential oil, or a natural perfume with that (I'm sure there are lots of Etsy shops that sell something with it). I personally LOVE citrus blossoms too, and find the neroli essential oil to be wonderful! @Ispend2much6
@spubu Thanks for the idea! I have some products with neroli in them, but never thought they smelled like the orange blossom water. Maybe they were mixed with too many other scents. I do have an essential oil "perfume" that I love, called Egyptian Goddess. That stuff lingers on (everything it touches too, like seatbelts,) forever!
That's too bad that the perfumes with neroli don't smell like the orange blossom water 😞 I find the essential oil to be like a very concentrated version of citrus blossoms, but neroli is specifically made of the bitter orange blossoms. I hope the Jo Malone scent is just right!! @Ispend2much6
@Ispend2much6 those are some excellent choices! i love love love my hourglass bronzer!
@unfungirl I am so glad to hear that! Now that I've found foundations and bb creams I like, the other challenge is a bronzer. I do like Guerlain's mineral loose powder (I think it was discontinued, but I have plenty.)
it's perfect for me @Ispend2much6! i have a hard time finding a bronzer that shows up on my skin, especially in summer, but also that doesn't turn orange! i hope you love it too 🙂
Oh no, I thought Jo Malone was coming to Sephora and not actually on line now! (skips off to make major changes in shopping list)
Definitely eyeing these:
- Tarte Make Believe in Yourself eye and cheek palette
- NARS Loaded Palette
- NARS Banc de Sable
- Hourglass Ambient Powder in Diffused Light (debating between this and Ethereal actually)
- Sephora Makeup bag in the Weekender
- Sephora Pro Highlight Brush in #98
- Youth to the People Kale, Spinach and Green Tea Cleanser
Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions about any of the items? Kind of glad I bought the ABH Nicole Glow kit early since it's OOS now on Sephora.
I also had Sunday Riley Luna Oil on my list, but I think I'll be trying out stuff from The Ordinary instead!
@flyte I've recently started using the Youth to the People cleanser and I do like it! If you're looking for a super deep cleanse this may not be for you. If you are looking for a gentle cleanser that's also going to remove light makeup, I think you'll enjoy this. (: It has a slight scent (no added fragrance, all natural from the ingredients they put in!) that kind of reminds me of a veggie garden. I guess with the ingredients of kale, spinach, and green tea it's not too much of a surprise!
