The 15% off Spring sale is around the corner... can I get a drum roll...
THE ROUGE SALE IS APRIL 18TH - 24TH!!! I HAVE THIS CONFIRMED
What's on your list?
PRODUCTS THAT ARE MAYBES...
The Verb shampoos are great @Eliza1214
I was so-so about the too faced shadow insurance..I prefer the Nars one.
Oh perfect! I'm looking forward to the VERB and I'll switch out the primer for the NARS one. Thank you @Ikon. 🙂
I would like....
1. Any Drunk Elephant products
2. Those Stila magnificent metal glitters
3. Bite Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencils in Medeira and Rhubarb
4. Marc Jacobs Slow Burn
5. A new, fluffier blush brush. I want a really big, fluffy one but am not sure what one yet. Any suggestions?
6. A natural looking highlight. Maybe Hourglass Luminous light? again, any suggestions?
7. Some really good body moisturizer
8. Devacurl B-Leave In (HG for my fine, wavy hair, gives me soft, frizz-free ringlets with both a diffuser or air dry, which is unheard of for me)
9. If Pink Champagne ever comes back in stock, then I'd totally make an ABH palette
10. Large size MUFE Metal palette
I'm sure I could go on forever if I were to browse the site, but this is my top 10 off the top of my head!
That is a gorgeous brush! I might need to add it to my list.
@gxlxaxm your Killin Me!! I literally looked through all the brushes on the sephora website and only mark Jacobs brushes fit what I was looking for, but I held off due to price. I think it's a sign though, maybe I need to just bite the bullet and pick it up during game the sale!
Marc Jacobs Slow Burn is so beautiful. I have it in the Liquid Lip Creme version and find it to be a super flattering color.
For a natural looking highlight the Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in 001 is beautiful. Also, Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminating Veil powder is pretty too.
@virgo87 thanks for the suggestions!! I almost picked up the arrangements veil when it first came out but forgot all about it!
@EmmyLove Is the B'leave in good for fine / wavy hair? The description is for curly/super curly...I have waves and Im always looking for an HG product to create pretty waves, vs what I have if I hair dry
@Anonymous yep its great for fine wavy hair! I think the actual devacurl website gives a more accurate description of the product:
"If you want to bring out your natural curls, plump em' up and add moisture and shine, this is exactly what you need."
"This lightweight gelée contains a conditioning and stengthening blend of wheat protein, lemongrass and chamomile. The moisturizing formula adds instant shine, volume and plumpness to curls."
http://www.devacurl.com/b-leave-in.html
I have very fine hair, but lots of it so it gets weighed down very easily. I have a very loose wave that can become loose spirals with the right products, and I find when I use B'Leave-In to scrunch my hair while still wet, then diffuse it I get a ton of volume and spirals with shine. When I air dry it instead of diffusing I don't get as much volume but still get spirals for sure ❤️
@EmmyLove. It's in my list now, thanks emmylove!
I'm with you on the Drunk Elephant products! Always wish I could buy one, but gawsh that price tag! 15% off would help out. I too would be getting DevaCurl products - I just discovered that line and so far I think it's great 👍 I'd really like the DevaCurl full-sized towel. I have the small one and I'd like the full sized one cause it really helps to prevent my hair from frizzing after washing. Think I'd like to try the new serum they have out now too, once it's back in stock lol. Hopefully by the time this sale happens, if it does.
DE and Devacurl are some of my HG brands at sephora! I really want the Devacurl diffuser but I'm just not sure about the price
I have the Deva Diffusuer (and the dryer for what it's worth).
I wanted the diffuser becauseI wanted the "fingers" to reach into my hair bulk and toward the scalp for faster drying at those levels in particular. It does do that somewhat and I was fairly happy with it.
Vs. Like a regular pan diffisuer drying my ends but not getting the inside and roots dry very well, or frying the ends int he process of trying to get the other parts.
However, because it doesn't have a wide diffused base to pile and lift the curls, it actually does NOT maximize my curl in that way even when I try really hard to go out of my way to try to make it do that.
I ended up preferring to go back to a regular diffuser, FWIW, but I'm not sorry I tried the Deva.
The dryer sucks my hair into the back mechanism a bit 😞 that's the dryer not the diffuser though. I am prob going to try the Dyson bc of this.
So, depends on your priorities :D.
I have the diffuser (yay for Christmas!), and so far I really like it. It does a good job of lifting and drying in and under all of my curls; something that my normal diffuser didn't really do. I got the diffuser on its own though - not with the hairdryer. Mine I know is from Chatter's, and I think it was about $10 less than what Sephora sells them for (but that's Canadian... don't know if your from the USa, or if the price differs that much?).
Has anyone who mentioned talking with one of their Sephora SA's hear anything back about the sale being on/not being on? I'm curious to know (well I'm sure all of us are lol) I have a GC burning in my pocket, and it's been a rough few weeks so the thought of some upcoming retail therapy just may do the trick ;).
Why won't they tell us already.. aaaaagh.
The "not knowing" is making me craaaaazy...
It will most likely be after Ulta's 21 days of beauty 😉
I just placed a pricey order with the VIB renewal 10% code, and I'm trying to go on a makeup low buy this year so I think I'll just stock up on any staples with the 15% discount in April 🙂
Based on where I'm at with products, I'd imagine I'll only need to pick up a new face oil for daytime, a brow pencil, and maybe the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin liquid. Perhaps I'll replace my beautyblender and get a larger cleanser solid at that time too.
@k617 are you currently using the liquid Ceramidin? If so, is it a part of your morning or night routine? I have it but I'm not sure I'm making the most of it.
@mishanyc I use it both day and night, after toning, chemical exfoliation or retinol and just before applying my facial oil.
