@itsfi  That’s possibly the best batch of samples I’ve ever seen offered at a Sephora store (aside from scheduled store event swag bags). I’ve wondered about that Merit fragrance, so it’s good to hear other people’s thoughts on it. Aaand you just reminded me that Ulta carries Holo Taco now… note to self! 😅

100% agree @WinglessOne; I was taken aback. I thought she brought them out to let me choose a sample, which would have been very good of her to do, but then she started telling me a little about each of them as she was putting them into my bag. This is maybe my 2nd bottle of a Holo Taco polish - I'm quite happy with the formula and this shade. This feels like a rabbit hole I'll be falling down.

Thank you @peculiarzmakeup; it's always so fun to shop this savings event. Ohhh, I've been happy with Rhode. I've tried pretty much every product in her lineup, though not every shade. Let's see, if I'm remembering right, you've picked up one of her blushes and tinted lip balms, yes? More of her color products. 

Skincare-wise, my favorites within her line are the non-tinted lip balms, the Peptide Glazing Fluid, and the recently released Barrier Butter. The first two have been repurchased repeatedly and I can see that being the case with the Barrier Butter as well. Her other skincare items are good as well; they're just not necessarily favorites of mine, for a variety of reasons.

- Peptide Glazing Milk - it's very similar, in my mind, to Kbeauty products like the Laneige Cream Skin and I'm From Rice Toner and I have a slight preference for those. I do, however, want to use the Rhode milk more consistently this winter though, to see how it performs in that situation.

- Pineapple Refresh Cleanser - this is very nice; it contains some ingredients that my skin prefers only using periodically so I can't use it everyday

- Barrier Restore Cream - another good one, but my now normal-to-dry skin needs something more in a moisturizer (which is where the Barrier Butter performs well). The Barrier Restore Cream is more of a late spring to summer moisturizer for me.

@ather is also a fan of Rhode skincare and can give you her take on the skincare products as well. If you have questions about a certain product, feel free to ask away!

I definitely agree with everything itsfi said!  We have similar skin types but I live in a very cold area in the winter so my skin needs some extra TLC! 

My favs are definitely: 

BRC I find it is rich enough for the winter yet still light enough to use in the warmer months. I have been using it non stop but have just taken a break to use up some other products first but I will make this one my permanent cream once I catch up! 

Glazing fluid another that has a permanent spot in my skincare. Previously I was using Summer Fridays Jet Lag Deep Hydration Serum  but was called something else. Dream Oasis I think. Which I liked but the glazing fluid works so much better for my skin type and I seem to prefer it! 

Pineapple enzyme cleansing oh I had so many hopes for this. I really do like it however if I try to add any additional acids to my routine it really irritates my skin. So I have it and will use it just not as often! It’s a great cleanser tho. Maybe not for extra sensitive skin like I have. 

Peptide lip treatment ok! This one is my GOAT of lip balms. It’s my go to! I use to love the Summer Fridays lip butter balm but this one WOW!!!! 🤩 so good. I’ve been using Salted Caramel non stop. And I also have the unscented one always in my pocket. It is just so good. I have the tinted versions and I do use them often but if you pick any up grab the unscented one can’t go wrong!! 

I haven’t tried the new Butter cream but I feel like it would be a perfect winter cream for me! 

Peptide Glazing Milk is another GOAT for me. I love it. I was using different essence products and this one seems to work best for my skin!

I appreciate your incredible feedback and perspectives on this Rhodes products and skincare line. I never knew how many skincare products there actually were in the line this is quite impressive and also very interesting. Peptide glaze and barrier butter sound like a great combo. I loved reading your thoughts on these I really would like to try the pineapple one and honestly all of them but I like how you pointed out which work best for different considerations thank you so much for this 😊🫶 @itsfi

That pineapple enzyme cleanser is a beauty @peculiarzmakeup; I wish my skin could handle more frequent/daily use of those enzymes and actives.

Soul food by Amika is a fantastic hydrating hair mask, but I think everything you have here is such a fab selection.

And you scored some great samples in store, well done!

The knit bag is incredibly cute, I kinda wish they had offered it for online shoppers to. It's perfectly placed in your photo, it looks pretty darn sweet, along with your amazing hauls, everything is picture perfect. ✨👌

@CynthieLu, thank you. The samples were all thanks to the Sephora associates. They asked if I wanted any samples and I said it was fine; I'm good. It was busy in the store and I didn't want to take up too much of their time; they were very generous. I thought they were showing me what sample I could choose from and then she went over each of them and put them in my bag. 😲😍 

Yes, I've been using the Sephora Collection masks for some time; these are repurchases. This is the best sheet mask that the SC team has put out.
