It's another month closer to Summer BIC! ☀️🌷 and the air is getting warmer and the hauls are getting more and more fabulous!! New releases for spring and summer are abound and we are bound to try new things or maybe just sit back and enjoy what everyone else is shopping. 😍

It's my biggest find of the month @CookieGirl1 . I've been wearing Fenty Gloss Bomb ( Fu$$y and Fuscia flex) all year but since I bought this i can't stop wearing it. I want to try some other colors.  Maybe a Fuscia.  The doe shaped applicator is so fat and big it just loads up the gloss making them shine and shimmer.  The gloss holds up pretty good  and smells so good. Highly highly recommend picking it up

@sissyboi72  Hmm, what do you think of MAC Strobe Beam liquid blush, in terms of performance? It’s on my list of things to try, so I can compare it to a couple other brands’ liquid blushes I’m already familiar with. I’m especially hoping MAC’s is more pigmented (opaque) and longer wearing than NARS’s, but still just as easy to blend out. (Though to be fair, NARS does market their glowy liquid blush as sheer.)

Hello @WinglessOne . I really liked Mac Strobe liquid blush I found it really easy to blend out and it seems to hold up really well during the day. It had a really natural look to it. I want a louder look ( especially if out at night in a bar).I only have 1 liquid blush to compare it to and that is Saie Dew Blush Liquid Cream Blush Baby  and I found it easier to work with then saie but just not pink enough.  Prior to that I always used lipstick for blush( wut ever I was using on my lips that day.  If u see c a color u like I would definitely try it. I hope that helps u. I don't know if it will be better than NARS .

@sissyboi72  Thanks for the helpful feedback! I’ve got a Saie liquid blush, so that’s a good baseline comparison. Next time I’m at Ulta, I’ll pick up a shade. 

If you’re looking for a bolder pink dewy blush that’s easy to blend, consider one of the pink LYS Beauty Higher Standard Cream Glow Blush Sticks. They’re cream sticks, not liquids. I have a few shades and almost always apply ‘em by dabbing a brush onto the stick, then brushing that onto my cheeks. If I rub the stick on my cheeks instead, I’ll overdo it—and I have a medium-deep skin tone. LYS’s blush sticks are potent! Something else that’s potent but not dewy (more of a natural matte finish) is Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush: very easy to get loud cheeks with these blushes, though they’re not as easy to blend out as others I’ve used. I usually finger-blend ‘em. 

Using lipstick as blush is also a good technique. Lipstick’s been my favorite makeup item since the late 1980s; I didn’t really get into blush until the 2010s, when NARS’s old powder blush formula won me over. 😅 Anyway, there’s nothing wrong with using lipstick on your cheeks if it’s the best way to get the look you want. 👍

@WinglessOne The  Rare Beauty one is definitely on my list. I really wanna get this liquid blush by Armani.  Going to try to pick it up this weekend. I've seen a couple blush sticks too. There is one by Kyle that I like.
