You picked up some beauties @Suzanne713, and the bag too - woohoo! It's such a cute (and roomy) bag; so happy to see you were able to get it. How much coverage would you say you can get from building up the Hourglass skin tint? Do you typically apply it with your fingers or brush?

@itsfi  Oh I love the Makeup Bag! I went to 3 different Sephora locations to find it!😂

The Hourglass Veil Skin Tint is light but great coverage...meaning it covers redness, makes breakouts less noticeable/blend in with your skin, etc., but you can still see skin. 

It can be built up to medium coverage - more coverage but doesn't look like 1,000lbs of makeup. 

It's like a light coverage but buildable Foundation in the form of a hydrating Skin Tint/Tinted Moisturizer.

I usually apply Hourglass Veil with my fingers or a Beautyblender because I usually always end up running late (I honestly don't know how lol) but I also use the Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation Brush.

Fingertips:

I just put a little on my fingertips and apply it in sections rather than just rubbing it all-over. 

However, if you're going to build it up by using your fingertips, I suggest either letting the first layer dry a little before applying 2nd layer or patting/tapping the 2nd layer on or just apply the 2nd layer and then use fingertips to pat/tap to make sure it's even.

Brush:

I put some product either directly on my skin or the back of my hand, depending on how much coverage I want. 

I don't sweep the Brush, I apply it by stippling.

To build it up, I let the first layer dry for a minute then apply extra coverage.

Beautyblender:

Use damp Beautyblender.

I put the product directly on the Beautyblender and bounce/stipple the product on my skin. 

I also let the first layer dry for a minute before applying a 2nd layer.

I don't always use a 2nd layer of coverage because I usually don't need it...1 layer does a great job!

It's also worth mentioning that this product does not settle into fine lines (I have tons of those!) or pores. 

And, Hourglass Veil sets with just Setting Spray or just Setting Powder, or both.

(If I just use Spray then I usually do a layer of Setting Spray, let dry, spray again because I like to make sure my makeup is set)

What beautiful hails, @Suzanne713! I’m a big fan of Westman Atelier, too. I love the stick blushes but haven’t tried the powder duo yet.

@curlychiquita  I love Westman Atelier so much! The stick blush, Highlighter, Contour, Powder Bronzer, and just everything are amazing! 

The new WA Powder Duos are gorgeous!  The Powder is buttery soft and applies seamlessly without any harsh lines.

It's pigmented but can be sheered out or built up.

And, the formula does not settle into pores or look dry/powdery on the skin. It also applies beautifully on Foundation, Tinted Moisturizer, and bare skin.

The Contour Powder is very pigmented, so don't pick up a ton of product because you won't need it.

In my opinion, it's gorgeous and worth the splurge!
