I like the zoo hair butter, too, but I do trade it off with other conditioners. I’m not sure if I’m going to buy it again or not. @greeneyedgirl107

@greeneyedgirl107  Have you used that Flawless hair mask before? I’ve never used anything from that line, but I’ve been curious. If it’s new to you, I hope it works well for your hair!

@WinglessOne I haven't used the hair mask before.   I tried it once.  I mixed it in with my Redken All Soft Heavy Cream.  My hair looked better, which is to say that it laid down more smoothly and looked less distressed.   I wish it made my hair look sleeker and more supple.  My hair was a little softer.   Idk if the results will keep up, tho...

The mask was very thick, and I can understand the reviews that complained about the thickness hindering detailing.

I'll probably use up the sample...I'll let you know if results radically change.   I am beyond pleased that I could order a sample pack.  I wish more companies did that.

Im still searching for a heavier hair mask.  Do you have any favorites?  

For reference, my hair is thick/wavy, dry and frizz prone.

@greeneyedgirl107  I also wish more brands/retailers sold sample packs, or at least travel sizes. I realize that can contribute to more consumer waste, but it can also convince folks to buy a full or jumbo size next time. 

Glad to hear this mask is helpful, even if just partially. I don’t really have a favorite hair mask. Well wait, I do still like Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair!™ Deep Conditioning Hair Mask but I think of that more as just a deep conditioner—which in some cases is really the same thing as a mask. I kinda feel like haircare is the wild west of marketing jargon. 🤣 I’m definitely not a hair expert… most of what I know has to do with my particular hair and all its quirks. For instance, my high porosity sections of hair taught me that “dry” and “hydrated” are kinda the same thing: too much water left in that hair + a coating of several humectants = cuticle layer stays open/lifted, causing my hair to feel “too dry” to the touch, look very frizzy, and tangle easily. Instead of “hydrating,” what I really need is something that helps close/lower the cuticle layer and adds some emollience (slip) to keep my coils from tangling/knotting everywhere. I’ve been trying to zero in on which ingredients do that the best for my hair. 

That rambling up there doesn’t necessarily apply to everyone’s hair. Or I dunno, maybe it does? Like I said, I’m no expert. Have you seen Michelle Wong’s (Lab Muffin) videos on hair science? I’ve had ‘em queued up to watch later for a while; guess I should actually watch them soon. I should also buy her book, which I keep meaning to do… it includes info on hair. But anyway, the videos are free and might be worth watching, if you haven’t yet,

 Hello @CynthieLu and BIC!!! Month of May has been very busy for me. My big find very excited about is #make up for ever super boost Moisturizing lipgloss (02 fairy glimmer). I love this stuff can't stop wearing it. I put it on head to the mall and I stick out with glossy shimmer on my lips.  Keep an eye out a review will be coming soon from me. The other find was MAC came out with #MAC Cosmetics Lipglass Air Non-Sticky Gloss with Glass-Like Shine + Lightweight Formula Snobbish I wrote a review on Mac ( MatthewTruckDriver). Stuff keeps my lips hydrated and glossy smells great. I got there liquid blush #mac liquid Strobe blush. It's nice but not pink enough for me. I got a Mac lip liner. I'm really going to try to perfect my outline i really want my lips to pop. I got the #one/size Patrick starr b12 base thinner.. It has shimmer in it . I wanted to mix it in with my liquid blush to make my cheeks shimmer. I also got a nice pink baseball hat with a bow on it and my name sissyboi.  I wear it at the mall when I'm shopping and having lunch.  So keep a eye out for me.
