@danielledanielle  Very nice! Do the handles have a hinoki scent at all? I assume not since the handles are small and coated, but I'm curious. I keep trying to resist this set... we'll see how much longer I can hold out (before it sells out). Hope you enjoy yours!

I was like.. Did they have a scent?!? I didn't remember.   Let me go take a whiff.  Nada.  Then I made Hubbs take a whiff.  No scent.

I love the smell of hinoki wood, so I was hoping these would have a faint scent despite the coating—even though Sonia G. herself said they really don't—so I'm trying to make that a reason not to buy this set. Trying hard. 😂

The handles are lovely.  I'm usually not terribly invested in the handles (vs bristles), but they are so delicate and lightweight.

The bristles, are described a silky, but I don't feel they are.  They are soft, but not silky.  I'd say the bristles on WG air brush is silkier, these are soft and airy.

The price point, IMO could be better. I think you're paying for the brand and the handle.   I had gift card credit from the last GC event, so that made it work for me. 

I read Sonia G's post on her blog prior to buying and the functionality is there.  I really like little Hinoki best. It works well with pigment and diffusing it quickly.  Big Hinoki is great too, but her comparison pics show several brushes with that shape.  The airyness of Hinoki makes it different.

ack it’s so pretty on! I’ve been using the darker blush as a subtle contour and the past couple days though both shades are lovely as blush on their own.
