Pat Ta's new highlighter looked very interesting to me, I grabbed PATRICK TA Major Glow Crème & Powder Light Reflecting Translucent Highlighter Duo Sugar I got #SEPHORA COLLECTION Hydrating Hand Mask in Coconut + Mango Mango for the 4x point multiplier on my order. 💪

🤩 Pretty promising swatches imo. My first impressions are that it's more subtle than I was expecting, and not overly shimmery. No sparkles that I can see from my swatches. Ooooh I like it so far. 

Some fun GWP were from Saie, Peter Thomas Roth and Laneige and L'Occtaine

Sk-II Duo set (This treatment mask is phenomenal btw 🤩) and The Spray in Conditioner were from the Rewards Bazaar 🏆

@CynthieLu awesome haul! I've been thinking of getting Sugar as well. How are you liking it? Does it stay super tacky?

I've read so many reviews that are negative about this highlighter. But my experience with it is mostly positive @makeitup305 

For me it dosen't stay a tacky. I can use it before or after the powder, on it's own.. etc. I go pretty sparse with it and gently tap it in where I want it. It sets for me pretty nicely. 

My only critique is the shade I have Sugar, it's so transparent. Very skin like for me, I think people feel similarly about the other shades. It's very subtle so I think it's great for 'no makeup' looks.

@CynthieLu I saw a video of him saying that they're meant to be transluscent so you're definitely right. I want to give them a shot since I love the idea of a more glossy highlight. I need to check them out in store, I don't think that balm would survive the heat right now.

I can picture it melting in the heat @makeitup305 and with the reviews people are leaving I think checking this out in person sounds wise. 🔍🕵️‍

@CynthieLu I checked it out today and didn't love it. I think it's an easy skip, at least for now. I wasn't a fan of either of the formulas. I wonder if I'll like it more when it's not 110 degrees outside lol

That's much too hot 🔥 🥵 @makeitup305 , one day of our heat wave hit 108 and it was like being on the surface of the sun. Hang in there! I hope it cools down for you soon. 🙏🙏 

I'm glad you did get out to test it, something like this needs a swatch testing. It's definitely not a fit for everyone.

@CynthieLu, the new PML lip pencils look good! Both shades you picked up will pair beautifully with that eyeshadow palette too!

Great haul @CynthieLu ! The best part of your haul is your beautiful cat ! Enjoy your goodies ! I’ve been eyeing the Patrick Ta Highlighter duo but I don’t know which one I prefer LOL 😆! The shade Sugar looks the most versatile but they’re all pretty ( except for the darkest, only because it wouldn’t suit my skin tone ).

The highlighter is very sheer, I was torn between which one to try too. Especially since I didn't make a trip in store to swatch before hand. Blind buying is always a little risky right? 😅 Lol. 

I thought the same, but I think if it hadn't been this shade I would have picked the shade My Love. ✨
