@CookieGirl1, do you put your hair through a lot of chemical processes or would you say your hair is "damaged"?

@itsfi honestly, it's not overly "damaged" because I don't do chemical processing so that's why I'd probably see a little bit of a difference but not enough to really justify the purchase.

@itsfi  Ooooo jvn shine drops. I’m keeping those on my radar!!! Have you tried the thrive yet? Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. I’ve seen so many ads for them!

@ather, yeah, the barrage of advertisements for Thrive can be a little much. 😆 I've tried the mascara a couple of times now, still need to put it to the test on a day when I'm running around more. So far, it has not flaked or smudged on me, even with having a "steam facial" of sorts when I was making pasta the other day. I liked that it held up during the day and that it was easy to wash off, but in terms of how it made my lashes look, it was just okay. 😐 I don't have a lot or thick lashes to begin with so it gave them a little oomph which was nice but not more so than other mascaras; I guess I was hoping for more volume. The eyeshadow stick, on the other hand, I've been very happy with - it goes on easily and quickly and did not budge! 👍 I'm planning on using the JVN hair oil soon, maybe this weekend if I remember to reach for it.

@itsfi  Mascara sounds meh. The shadow stick sounds good tho. Which shade did you get?

@ather, I picked up the Dr. Q shade - it's described as a caramel bronze shimmer. It goes on easily and blends well too - it comes with a sponge applicator on the other end but I found it's pretty easy to blend it with just my finger. Makes for an easy peasy shadow for when you're short on time, or just anytime really.

Thank you @curlychiquita! 😊 I was a little hesitant to purchase them blindly but they all turned out to be colors I like or love.

@Kim888, I was initially afraid it would be too light, but it’s nice shade of pink, and can be built up. 😃

@faeriegirl, I tried to wait for the sale, I really did. 😂 I had a gift card so it covered most of the haul. They feel nice on the lips and I like the colors I picked up! I can see myself picking up a few more shades during the sale.

@Mellmars1185, thank you! 😁 I'd like to try the JVN scalp oil, the hair serum and the other shampoo / conditioner lines, but am working my way through some products at the moment. They are on my list for the spring sale. How often do you use the JVN scalp oil?

@itsfi  I use it about once per week atm. I usually put it in on a Sunday in the morning and wash out when I take my shower later in the day. I find it has been keeping my scalp nourished and right now my hair is pretty healthy. Keep in mind I have not  coloured or bleached it for about 2 years and just got a hair cut. I feel like it is a good part of my hair health care.

@sister13, I am looking forward to trying the Chris Collins set - had planned to do so last week, but time just got away from me. Hoping to get in a scent here or there later this week and over the weekend.
