I've been using these products since late November, but due to my hectic December schedule I couldn't post my thoughts on them. 

The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% 1 oz/ 30 mL is amazing for my skin. I use it every other day at night. Literally 3 drops is more than enough for my face, neck, and hands. Any more than 3 drops and my skin doesn't absorb it and I eventually have to wipe it off.

I get a nice glow to my skin after applying it. It feels like an oil (absorbs quickly and smoothly) and smells like a vitamin C packet (those that you open and put in a glass of water). Since late November, my face has a subtle but growing glow ✨ (which is nice because in winter my face is very dull) and my dark marks and PIH are lighter/fading (a few of them are gone). Not only is it super cheap* but I'm 75% through the bottle and I've been using it for over 2 months so the quantity is great too. 5 stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fenty Skin Total Cleans'r Makeup Removing Cleanser Mini 1.52 oz/ 45 mL lasted for 2 months with sporadic use.

What I like 👍 :

The cleanser is not stripping (like my old cleanser) and cleans off makeup and skincare products (serums, toners) effortlessly. It has a smooth, pleasant, and lotion-feeling texture. It smells like cherries and coconuts and whenever I use this cleanser I feel like I am using a lotion from a luxury tropical resort. The smell goes away / my nose gets acclimated to the smell within 5 minutes of use. I don't mind fragrance in my products and I would rather have a cleanser smell like this one than my old cleanser that smelled like silica/metallic soap. 

I like the color, texture, and sustainability focus of the packaging.

What I don't like 👎:

The cleanser does not cleanse off my mineral sunscreen. After trying it multiple times, more than half of my sunscreen remains on my face. Maybe it works for chemical sunscreen. I always get allergic reactions and/or cystic acne from chemical sunscreens so I only use mineral sunscreens.  

I very much prefer skincare products with a pump over having to squeeze out the product. I have to clean the cap and/or opening of the bottle each time I use it. Also the outside of the bottle got a stain from my foundation that I had to scrub hard with dish detergent to remove (I had to clean off the stain or else I would stain my fingers with foundation each time I use the cleanser). Stains on the packaging are hard to remove. 

Having said that, I would re-purchase this if the price for the full-sized bottle wasn't expensive. I feel uncomfortable buying cleansers over $25 CAD. Overall, 3.5 stars 🌟🌟🌟✨ 

I will post the Fat Water toner later as my review is lengthy in a good way, it completely changed my acne and PIH for the better 😍 🤩 and I've been told in real-life to stop talking about how good it is 😂😅.

I appreciate your review of The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid and Alpha Arbutin. I like Alpha Arbutin as an ingredient in skincare an I'm glad to hear this works. @Nahnom

Thank you @curlychiquita ! 💝 This is my first time trying alpha arbutin. It took me over a month (~month and a week) to notice any visible changes to my complexion and marks, but I liked the pleasant and gentle feel of the product application so I'll keep using it.
