Some Valentino swatches, purchased from somewhere other than Sephora as I suspected there would be mainly returns.  I was correct.  Anyone else do that?

The blush 03 Rosa Emozione.  This is VERY heavily scented.  Didn't even attempt to wear it.

A little bit about the lipstick sizes:  the free samples size, such as the one in the current promo code, is 0.03 oz.  The mini size lipstick with case is 0.07 oz.  The refill is 0.12 oz.

Ah, good feedback, @Ispend2much6. I'll probably just stay clear of the Valentino line given your feedback and the fact that some TYers I watch complained about the cheap packaging. I'm happy the CT lipstick worked out!

You'd think that Valentino cosm. would want their early foray into the hype-competitive market to be Top-Flight A+. Not ruined with cheapie size promo lippies and sub-par packaging. And >50$ for a lipstick other than Guerlain? Er, nope.

@curlychiquita. The shades are really pretty but I'm just so picky. I didn't care for their matte formulation prefer CT's for that.

@lmaster No. It's weird because although they look okay here when I look at a picture of my whole face they do not!  

And then there is the matter of me trying the one I had bought as a gift accidentally- that was a shade I would never wear.
