I bought the Fenty Skin The Daily Duo Mini Cleanser + Toner Serum Duo back in Nov 2021. I finished this ~2 weeks ago.

 Fenty Skin Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum with Niacinamide 5.0 oz/ 150 mL . 

3 of the Senses:

Smell - Cherries 🍒  (like a tropical cherry) and tropical floral. It smells sweeter and more tropical and is less intense than the cleanser. The smell vanishes within 3 minutes of putting it on. I love this smell but while I would love it to be fragrance-free, at least it doesn't stench like the Avène concentrate does.

Touch - Feels like a loose gel or a serum in my hands. I prefer to use my hands to apply this. Fat water toner has the EXACT SAME IDENTICAL texture on the face as the Avène concentrate. The texture on the face is so identical that I now 💯 believe that there were some cosmetic formulators/scientists/chemists shared between the teams behind these products. On top of it, both companies have French connections (Avène is French and Fenty Skin is co-owned by LVMH). You cannot convince me otherwise.

The packaging is nice and sleek. While I usually prefer pumps for serum, I like this method of pouring out the toner as for me, the toner is too liquid-y to be a proper serum. I also like the quantity, 50 mL is enough for ~1.5 months so 150 mL is ....I will not be re-buying this toner for a longgg time.

I am saving the 50 mL bottle to fill it up with toner from the 150 mL bottle to take for when I go on vacations/trips. The box has a little shelf between the cleanser and toner, and is nice, compact, and sturdy enough that I am saving it to put serums in for travelling.

Sight - I love lavender. I love sunset orange. I love lavender and sunset orange together. Pretty colors.

Experience using this product:

I initially bought this to see if it would anyway help with boosting my complexion and PIH/dark spots on my face. I was hoping that this product would slightly help with my complexion and expecting it to cause acne breakouts and/or irritation on my sensitive skin. Sometimes I get surprised by which products my skin decides not to react to. I was speechless with the results that this toner gave me ...and then when my speechlessness recovered I couldn't stop talking about it 😂 

As my acne goes through a monthly cycle, I decided to test this one for 2 weeks alone. In 2 weeks of this toner alone, my acne went from roughly 50% severe (average pencil eraserhead sized) and 50% cystic (dime-sized) to 50% severe, 30% cystic. I now use this product every other day at night. I leave it on for an hour or so and then cleanse it off and put on The Ordinary ascorbic acid + alpha arbutin. 

I can say this product alone over 2 weeks also lightened up my PIH from a dark brown to a less dark brown. Like if you think of the shades of PIH as shades of foundation, my PIH went from a dark brown shade to the next dark brown shade down. 

It has been over 2 months of using this product with The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% 1 oz/ 30 mL #and I have not had a cystic pimple (I define it as a dime-sized painful pimple that leaves a very dark brown PIH) in over 2 weeks. My acne has decreased to a moderate (using the %s: 40% severe, 0% cystic) and my jawline and part of my cheeks PIH are gone. My complexion has a subtle and growing glow ✨  (pretty sure it from The Ordinary and this product as each product alone brightens my complexion). I have nothing negative to say on this product. I love love love love love this toner!!!!! 😍😍💖💖💖❤️❤️❤️💝💝💝🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💫

@Nahnom, your experience with the Fenty toner sounds amazing! Those results are great. 😍 I have zero need for another toner, but I'm making a note of it for when I work through the ones I have.

@itsfi Yes I love the Fat water toner. For me, the true mark of a product producing good results on my skin/hair/body is if other people comment on it. My friend asked me if I am taking an antibiotic or a new pill for my acne. My mom commented on my skin clearing up multiple times. She even asked what I did I do to make my acne go down and after telling her about this toner, she then ordered me to "buy back-up so you don't run out of it" (of course I immediately followed her orders 😂). So this product got that ultra-rare seal of approval 🌟from my mother.

@Nahnom ,@itsfi. This Fenty toner sounds great- thanks for posting the Review. There are those that say using an Astringent or Toner is 100% unnecessary- err 

They probably are blessed with nice & calm skin as-is. I've loved Toners for decades. And Fenty FW sparks my interest; but must wait 'til my Supply is fín.

@MvLL @itsfi In my opinion, I see and feel like the toner as more of a liquid-y serum than a toner for my skin. I also treat it in terms of application like a serum. Guess it depends on the skin.

In terms of trying out the toner, I would definitely recommend buying the Fenty Skin The Daily Duo Mini Cleanser + Toner Serum Duo due to the mixed reviews I read and watched.

I didn't feel super-inspired to buy a lot of things this month (and my bank account isn't complaining!) but there were a few things that I wanted:

I had a travel-size spray of the Mugler Alien Goddess Eau de Parfum and really liked it so I went ahead and got the larger size.  The body products were from TJ Maxx; I've actually never tried anything from Kopari before but a lot of their stuff has been at TJs and Marshalls because they repackaged their entire line so it was a good excuse to finally try a couple of things.

I like the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Always an Optimist Soft Radiance Setting Powder Light pretty well, the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Always An Optimist Powder Brush is just OK, but I actually really am enjoying the Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Warm Wishes Effortless Bronzer Sticks Happy Sol!  Luckily the 2nd shade in the range works really well for my skintone and not only does the color look nice but the formula is fabulously easy to work with.

I hauled one of the new CLINIQUE Cheek Pop Blush shades in the new Pearl formula and fell in love with it so I really wanted to try one more.  This one in Ruby Pop is actually a slightly warm berry-toned blush that requires just a bit of building but looks absolutely stunning.  I couldn't wait to get my hands on the LAWLESS Forget The Filler Overnight Lip Plumping Mask but I have to admit that I don't think it quite lived up to what I wanted it to be.

My first polishes from Bees Knees Lacquer and now I need more!

@missjeanie Nope, I totally get it and I honestly expected to love it.  It's getting great reviews from a lot of people (I think I'm in the minority) so maybe I'm just too picky with my lip masks 💋.

@CookieGirl1, I was wondering if / hoping you would pick up the Lawless lip mask. Sorry to hear it didn't live up to your expectations. ☹️  Does that banana milk cleanser smell like bananas? Or banana runts?

@itsfi the lip mask isn't bad by any means; it's probably just that I overhyped it in my mind and wanted to love it more but I'm sure that a lot of people will think it's fab.  As far as the banana body wash, it smells SO good!  I love that artificial banana candy smell and this embodies it perfectly.  As an extra bonus, the wash itself is actually decently hydrating.

@Sunnysmom Honestly, I think it's one of the easiest cream bronzers to use and would be perfect for a beginner.  The brush looks like it should be really fluffy but it's a little stiffer than it appears and I actually wish that it was a bit softer.

I’m very intimidated by bronzer @CookieGirl1 so that’s really good to know.  Boo on the brush. I don’t like that. Either too thin too fat too harsh too firm too soft. Tricky. 😕
