Please post your incredible hauls for this month. I can’t wait to see what everyone gets during the Sephora Savings Event which starts first for Rouge members on 4/5.
Sephora Savings Event 2024 FAQs (Updated 3/4)
Happy Birthday month April babies!!!
Well deserved @itsfi ! Love to see your amazing hair soon!
Awww, thanks @jaaayp. I’m trying to get in as much practice as I can but there’s not been as much free time to play. I will say that having gone with this bigger ticket item off the bat, I have made less purchases during the sale this year compared to the same time last year. 😆 I can’t guarantee that trend will stay the course for the rest of the sale. lol
I’m sure you will have it figured out in no time @itsfi!
@faeriegirl, I don’t know about no time but I’ll get there. Slowly but surely.
Oh fabulous!! @itsfi your hair will look amazing
@lmaster, thank you. I hope so. I’ve been impressed with how well it has performed for others. Will keep practicing with it.
Thank you @curlychiquita! The sale definitely helped motivate me to pick this up. I have some go-to items to replenish but will likely pick those few items up near the end of the sale.
Have fun glamorizing your hair @itsfi I'm not sure what the stacking thread is. Thanks for posting it❤
@Buootiful, thank you. It’s an approach to help establish a new habit by “stacking” it with an existing habit. An example would be brushing teeth followed by flossing. Or, make dinner (an existing habit of mine) and read for leisure while waiting for dinner to finish cooking (a new habit I want to establish). I learned about habit stacking from @Mellmars1185 (hopefully I described it correctly?); the Habit Stacking Thread 📚 is worth checking out. I’ve gotten a lot from it. 👍🏼
@itsfi Thank sounds right to me! One example I like to share is putting in my OUAI Hydrating Scalp Serum for Healthy, Fuller Looking Hair 2 oz / 60 mL , putting a load of laundry in while working out. The goal is to save time while creating healthy habits. Sometimes I mix self care in with chores @Buootiful
This is beautiful, @itsfi! I have not had much experience with these, but I have watched some tutorials. I like how there are so many possibilities with this. I can think of aome habit stacking ideas already. The case is so sleek and elegant. Enjoy testing this fun toy out!
@Mellmars1185, thank you! I woke up this morning excited to try it - spent some time last night checking out some YT videos. I think I will take my time learning how to use it and fine tuning my technique. The curler is the first one I want to try. Oooh, you have some ideas for habit stacking; would love to get your feedback.
@itsfi 💖 I think I have heard that it is best to use some of the attachments when you hair is damp, not soaking wet. So after you wash your hair and wait for your hair to air dry a bit, the options of what you do with that time are limitless. Since my hair is curly, I like to brush my hair back and let it dry in a scrunchie.
@itsfi Ahhhhhhh so fun!!!! I hope you don’t put yourself in the corner tooo long. And if you do you bring your Airwrap with you!! I can’t wait to hear all the things! Maybe you can teach me how to use mine better!!!
Thank you @ather! I think I'm good now. I will be spending a little time this weekend playing with my new toy! 😁 I'll watch a few YT videos tonight and tomorrow so I have a better idea of what to expect.
How do you use yours? Which attachment(s) do you tend to reach for? Did you find there was a learning curve with it? I'm all ears! We can learn together!
@itsfi I was mainly using the brush attachment and the curling attachment. I saw so many people using the round brush attachment but I didn’t figure it out. It always Makes my hair look frizzy and not smooth. I didn’t find any learning curves but as I tell my hairdresser I’m not good at styling my hair. I think everyone has their own strengths and it’s definitely not mine. 🤣 but I’m aware so it’s all good right!! I did like the way it curls my hair and I love how it doesn’t feel like it damaged my hair like a curling iron does. And it gave me a better curl over a curling iron but again I’m no expert on styling hair! So I’m sure any tips you learn I would love to hear! I watched so many videos to help and I think it did help me do better than learning on my own. I can’t wait to see what you think!!!! And if you like it better than your curling iron routine!!
I had a frizzy experience with the round brush too! But then someone told me she thought the round brush gave her shine and then I saw somewhere to use a lower air setting (medium or low) for the round brush, so I just tried that for the first time and it definitely worked better and did not get the frizz and I think I saw some more shine. So that’s another tip for the round brush. @ather @itsfi
Omg, this one is so pretty, I want it so bad! I think you will use it, I love mine so much so I’ve been using it more than any styler and find it’s saved me time from (a) not having to dry then style and (b) my style lasts longer and looks great longer.
Im still learning too, please post any tips you discover on the The Dyson Beauty Thread and feel free to tag me anytime!!!! 🩷🩷
Oh wow, that's saying a lot if you are using it more than your other styling products @sister13! Your hair is always so gorgeous! #hairgoals
Will definitely post to the Dyson thread. Going to watch some YT videos later tonight and tomorrow.
Wow!!! Enjoy your new Dyson Airwrap @itsfi . Don’t beat yourself up for that purchase.
