Sephora Savings Event Round 3 - online, BOPIS, and a couple of in store purchases made when I was in store to pick up my BOPIS order - well played, Sephora; well played! 👏🤣

Vegamour GRO Scalp Detox Clarifying Treatment for Dry, Flaky, Oily Scalp 2 oz/ 60 mL - my hair and scalp have not been a great match for the pre-wash hair oils I've tried to date so I'm going to see how this works as a pre-wash treatment. 

I debated whether to  pick up K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask 1.7 oz/ 50 mL -  I do love the amika dry shampoo. I also have loved every product I've tried so far from K18. The K18 won that debate. 

Virtue Damage Reverse Hair Serum 1.7 oz / 50 mL - the only thing from this hair haul that was actually on my shopping list. lol

I liked the lift from the original version of the new Sephora Collection mascara which I received as gratis (thank you @TeamBIC!) but was hoping for a waterproof version. Voila - #SEPHORA COLLECTION Love The Lift Curling + Volumizing Waterproof Mascara Ultra Black (the tag never wants to stick around on this one 😏) - I've been using it for about a week now and I'm impressed - it's giving Lancome Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara, a well loved HG of mine for decades, some serious competition. 

SEPHORA COLLECTION Daily Mineral Sunscreen Cream SPF 30 1.7 oz. / 50 ml swatched and applied very well when I tried it in store. Looking forward to giving this a go.

I like the consistency of the SEPHORA COLLECTION Best Skin Ever Multi-Use Hydrating Glow Concealer 26 Peach - it will work nicely on the more dry parts of my face and the under eye area.

Picked up a couple of the new under eye masks - for scientific purposes - want to see how these compare to the caffeine eye masks, a GOAT 🐐 product that I'm sad seems to be discontinued. 😞 I haven't gotten around to trying the lipsticks or the contour stick (but the swatch @jaaayp shared looks very promising) but hope to do so in the next week or so.

I love Diptyque candles. I love coffee. Not necessarily in that order 😅 so it was an easy decision to pick up  Diptyque's Parisian Cafe Collection (limited edition).

I used the K18 Biomimetic Hairscience AirWash™ Dry Shampoo today and have my first impressions in the spoiler but 

TL;DR: Ruh-roh amika Perk Up, you may have met your match! 😲

The best way for me to highlight my first impressions of this may be to share my thoughts based on the "How to Use" section from the product page - 
from Sephora product page
- "may feel slightly damp" - not "may" but will - will feel slightly damp. This one took me a bit off guard, even with it being clearly spelled out in the instructions for use. The damp feeling does dissipate, though not immediately.
- damp feeling "will not disturb your style" - true

- Results - I used this dry shampoo on Day 4 hair, that had been subject to styling products and heat tools (Dyson on Days 1 & 2), and am very pleased with the results 💗. 
👍  no white cast on my dark brown / black hair
👍  the parts of my hair where I applied the dry shampoo looked and felt less greasy and oily. Didn't feel like there was a lot of buidup from the dry shampoo
👍  what impressed me a lot was the volume it gave my hair 😍 

I'm not thrilled about the price point 💸, but the results really impressed me.

@itsfi  Oh wow! This one is incredible sounding! It’s a great first impression!! I think the set would throw me off too. Oooo I can’t wait to see how it goes the more you use it! 

I didn’t expect anything less from K18. Every product I’ve tried I have loved! 🥰

@ather, at first, I kept wondering "did I use too much product?" But I was very conservative with the number of spritzes I applied. It was wet, damp, damp, still feeling some dampness, still damp, damp and then ... DRY! 😅 Yes, so very true - K18 has hit it out of the park with their product line up. It's really quite remarkable. 💗 What have you tried from the brand?

I'm planning on using it again this week and will update if I have a different experience, but it's looking like this is or will quickly become a favorite.

@itsfi  so far I have tired their deep conditioner, the detox shampoo and their oil! But I’ve been wanting to try their new shampoo and conditioner but I didn’t buy it because I want to deplete my current stock before bringing more into my house! Maybe by the fall sale I will be ready! I don’t wash often so it might take time. I’ve also been changing my mind on the Vegamour. I have the mini shampoo and conditioner and I noticed the time I use it my hair is more soft and less frizzy. So I really like that one too.

I hear ya about waiting until the fall sale @ather; it'll actually be here sooner than we think. I want to make my way through some shampoo and conditione to determine which ones will be higher up on my restock list. Vegamour was a brand I thought I'd buy more products during this last sale, but I saw that I have more open hair proudcts than I thought so I'm going to "pause" on picking up more hair care products until I've made my way through a few in my stash, including the 3 i have as part of my Pan It!
