I love love watching/hearing about hauls. I'm interested in what people got and what they recommend. I went to Sephora today, and went out with an empty wallet. lol. I manly went to get skincare products:
Korres Milk Protein Cleanser
Korres Wild Rose Daily Brightening Refining Buff Cleanser
Boscia Bright White Mask
Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Reflief
Givenchy Mister Mat
Korres Pomegranate Mattifying Treatment
Fresh Face Polish
What did you all get recently?
Alright, I have spent around $300 on makeup alone over the past few days, and here goes.
Urban Decay is having a sale right now on some palettes and liners and other items. Here's what I got from their site:
UD Mariposa Palette
UD Ammo Palette
UD Deluxe Shadow Palette
UD Urban Defense Tinted Moisturizer
UD Vintage 24/7 Glide On Liner in Eldorado and Flipside
I spent $65 total on all of that stuff.
Then, I loved the UD liners so much that I bought 3 more online, and they're on the way, along with a Naked2 palette from Sephora.
But here's what I got at Sephora:
UD Naked Basics Palette
Smashbox Heat Wave Palette
Tarte 12-Hour BB Primer
Tarte 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation
Korres Cheek Butter in Philia Rose
Stila Countless Color Pigments in Finale
Sephora Microsmooth Eyeshadow Trio in Sunray
Stila Kajal Eyeliner in Topaz
And I got a few samples
PLUS, I qualified for VIB status.
Ok, I'm done buying nail polishes. =X
Sephora haul + a pound of tea (6 flavors) from Teavana
Also, I was painfully reminded of why I really shouldn't go to the mall...I get lured in by saleslady waaaay too easily. She mentioned facial massage and samples with purchase, I thought it's an actual facial massage, but it's really just somebody else applying 2-3 different product to your face...and I end up spending $70 for a set of skincare (albeit good) that I COMPLETELY do NOT need....T.T
@beautytester - Love love love all of it!!!! I have no sales resistance too! I really try to avoid the makeup counters like the plague because those ladies know that I am a sucker for makeup and they are drawn to me like a moth to a flame!
Haha, I think the Shiseido lady have telepathy. In any case, the samples were all Shiseido Luscent stuff, which is what I was interested in, and they just "happened" to have a The Skincare (their basic line) kit left so I can try everything, so....
@beautytester I am loving my Shiseido skin care. I have the Extra Gentle Cleansing foam (I use less than a pea size) each washing. And the same Softener as you. I use the Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Day Emulsion. Ive been impressed so far.
What is the sparkly blue teal/blue OPI color you bought?
the sparkly is the OPI jewelry top coat, not your average turqoise. The blue is Skinny Jeans.
I used the sparkle on my thumb, and the blue on my pinky/middle finger:
I mean, a $30 splurge is ok, but $70....T.T......it's also waaay too hot now, so I won't be using the set until the fall. Oh well. As for the tea, the full name's too long but it's basically:
- dragonfruit something
- something guava
- carribean matai (have coconut in it)
- peach...something (not sutra, not momotaro)
- blueberry bliss
Basically I want the 20% discount they only offer if you buy 1lb of tea, and I have a $10 off only if you buy $50. Oh well, I intended to loose 5lbs this week but ended up gaining 5lbs, so if I eat less and drink more tea, that should work.
Part I: Winning the Outlet Lottery
So, my mother and I hit the outlets- and I scored bigger than I ever have. My outlet haul included two products I was literally ready to buy at Sephora within days for full price, my HG (discontinued!) foundation, and the best freaking deal ever.
1 Liter Acqua di Gioia Shower Gel. Retail: $135. Paid: $12! (leftover from Memorial Day sale)
1.0 oz Acqua di Gioia Eau de Parfum. Paid: same as that shower gel. (Another Memorial Day leftover) (I am still working on a bottle now, but at that price, who would pass that up!!
Clinique 7-dau Scrub Cream
Michael Kors Eau de Parfum Rollerball/Lipgloss duo
Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation SPF15- Alabaster 00 (my HG, pre-reformulation!!!)
Kate Spade cosmetic case
Part II: Naughty Mall Run
My mother completely enabled me at the mall- and actually bought the most naughty elements of this haul.
Sweet 15 Tote
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray (I actually needed that)
Charlotte Ronson A Summer's Kiss- looking for something for my legs.
Samples: Kate Somerville Self Tanner towel (major props to the cast members at this Sephora- I was looking for MK Leg Shine and am pretty averse to self-tanners, so this was a "hey, no pressure, you can give this a try if you want" sample.)
Living Proof Satin Hair Serum
Yeah... those are 2 Chanels. However, they were gifted to me, so I didn't break!!
I picked up Starlet and Alchimie (yeah, the brand spanking new drool-worthy from Fall one). I also tested Elixir (heart!), Provocation (heart!) Paparazzi (unexpected heart!), Cinema (shockingly disappointing), and Mysterie (from fall- major skip)
I know, right? I don't feel bad about buying the things at the outlets, but I could've delayed the in-store purchases.
ETA: Hall of Famer? When did THAT happen ?!?!
