I love love watching/hearing about hauls. I'm interested in what people got and what they recommend. I went to Sephora today, and went out with an empty wallet. lol. I manly went to get skincare products:

Korres Wild Rose Daily Brightening Refining Buff Cleanser
Boscia Bright White Mask
Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Reflief
Givenchy Mister Mat
Korres Pomegranate Mattifying Treatment
Fresh Face Polish
What did you all get recently?
So far, I am loving it! It's very creamy and not thick. I talked to the SA about it, and she said since I didn't need much coverage that it would be perfect for me. I like how it's hydrating because the skin around my eyes gets dry at times. So far, it's a winner!
I heard there will be an event with Benefit counters inside Macy in April. Not sure if its all Macy's or just ones in Chicago. But its about the fake up concealer. She mentioned if you purchase something you will get a makeup bag with goodies.

I did only get one of the Long Lasting Lustrous eyeshadows, but I really like it. I might buy some more. It's kind of a weird texture... Like creme, but not creme... maybe mouse? It was super glittery though, way more than I expected. Thats alright I like glitter. C :
ohhhhh I feel so guilty, but I did a little mini drugstore haul today. I got 2 Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids in Shocking Coral and Vibrant Mandarin, a NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp, and a mini 0.5oz UD DeSlick. I guess I just needed some fun spring lip colors!\
@kimmi -- looooooove them! they are incredibly saturated with color, not just a "pop," more like an EXPLOSION of fun, bright color! and even with the intense saturation, they go on slightly translucent which I also love. It's easy enough to use just a little bit to stain rather than full coverage. Both ways it lasts pretty long on me, several hours at least. I really like the formula too, which is super smooth going on, reminds me of the texture of the L'Oreal Colour Riche lip balms, but these don't dry my lips out like the L'Oreal did. To me the texture feels even smoother than the Color Whispers that came out earlier this year!
Here's recent my beauty haul...you can totally tell what i'm addicted to...LIPSTICKS . I was sooo happy when I spotted the Jasmin mirror at sephora today coz I missed out online!! I also scored a sexy victoria secret bra for $34.99 that was originally $62!!
Dolce and Gabbana the one
Sephora Disney Jasmin mirror
Guerlain rouge automatique in 140 Mitsuoko
Chanel rouge coco in Chintz
Chanel inimitable intense
Sara Happ lip scrub in creme brulee
From Saks Fifth Ave:
Burberry lip cover in 24 romantic rose
Burberry lipcover in 09 blush
As you know, I had to finish my no buy early due to a competition this weekend and the prospect of finally getting to a freestanding Sephora. First off, we did really REALLY well in the competition, we did too well, like well to the point where the judges couldn't access what they needed to in some cases (it was a computer network hardening war game). So, despite our placement and their wonky numbers, I feel we did INCREDIBLY.
Anywho, onto the fun part!
Buxom Lip Polish in Sugar
Dior maximum plumping gloss
Fresh Sugar Lip Treament in Petal (looks just like a fuschia lipstick!)
Jasmine scented shimmer powder (attacked me in the store! But I think it will look amazing for my wedding with some tempering, again, love the smell, and I love that the glitter particles are an interesting color rather than generic!)
Hourglass Ambient Light Powder in Radiant and Mood
Living Proof Full shampoo (finally got around to trying the sample and absolutely ADORED it)
Living Proof Amp Volumizing Texture
Buxom 500 point reward (last one!)
Dior Iconic Overcurl mascara
Josie Maran Infinity Cream
Used the makeover VIB perk for my friend and the 10% for my purchase
Aveda Stress Relief Lotion Sample (and a free hand massage!)
Aveda travel Pure Abundance conditioner
A much needed new pair of Lucky jeans in Lola (my old one's are beginning to hole pretty badly)
Aaaand, that's my wad for this month, but definitely worth it!
Ohh! The Jasmine shimmer sounds fantastic (lol, attacked you instore, that reminds me of one time when I approached the perfume section, and as I was about to start sniffing, a Sephora saleslady grabbed the perfume in front of me, spritzed it aaaaalll over herself and I'm like ".......ok, my nose is gone, will try again later.")
How does Dior gloss compare to the Buxom one?
it is! And cute anecdote, but I kinda brought this one on myself, decided to try it and didn't realize just how powerful the atomizer was, my girlfriends and I were laughing for quite a while, and my male teammates were cracking up when they noticed the incredible amount of glitter present on my bust.
The Buxom and Dior Maximizer are two different things, the maximizer is more of an over-the-top-of-something-else, but has a pleasant light tingle, goes on quite smoothly, and looks EXTREMELY flattering with the Dior Lip Glow.
The Buxom one is more standalone, it keeps a neutral lip tone with a very slight fleshy pink, and incredible shimmer and gloss, also with a pleasant tingle and Buxom has always had incredible plumping properties
Very much so! Definitely a security geek though This past weekend was the PRCCDC (Pacific Rim Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition), they basically bring you in as a fresh IT team in a scenario and set a tam of both civilian and professional hackers at you over two days (which contain a month's worth of work). Last year we were Initech (Office Space) employees taking over for the team who got fired under CEO Milton. This year (@Lylysa you'll appreciate this) we were working for Gotham Memorial Hospital, the Joker had JUST blown up the hospital and we were supposed to keep services and a generator up and running for the maximum amount of time while under attack! Our CIO this year was Adam West haha XD It's an incredibly fun and stressful event, but something new is definitely taken away from it every time
