@Mellmars1185, I first learned about the brand and their lucky / mystery bag promotion from @RGbrown on the nail thread. This is my second year picking up a bag - when you order, you can specify preferences for colors, formulae, etc. and they do their best to accommodate. I received quite a few polishes last year, but I'm absolutely floored by how many polishes they included this year! I'll try to post swatches here or on the nails thread later this week; will tag you.

I recently discovered BDL has an Etsy store in addition to their own site, and there they have a 3pc mystery bag year-round, $13.50 for little bottles or $20 for full size ones. Sorry 💸

Hahaha! Is that a sorry-not-sorry @RGbrown? 😂 I think I'm good with BDL polishes for a while with all these new colors. I need to check a little more closely but I don't think there were any dupes between the ones I received this year and last year. 

@Mellmars1185, that mini mystery bag might be a good way to give the brand a try.

@Mellmars1185, I’m always a teensy bit nervous about mystery bags, but have been happy with the two I’ve received from this brand. For this year’s bag, I was more specific with color families that I liked. I think they run their lucky / mystery bag promotion around the Lunar New Year, so in January / early February?

Thank you @curlychiquita! 😊 I do gravitate towards lipsticks a fair amount. 😆 The Hermes one is sheer (and buildable), but not as sheer as their earlier lip balm. This one turned out more muted than I expected from the photos online and that swayed me to pick it up.

Pretty haul @lmaster! I really like the formula of the lipsticks in the Jason Wu Hot Fluff line - I have two shades and am always tempted to pick up a couple more, along with a few colors from the Honey Fluff range. Enjoy all your pretty lippies!
