💕Let's all share the love and hauls this month. Please show us your purchases whether it be for yourself, a loved one or a Galentine. 💕
This month we get to celebrate declaring love and affection to the people who make up our support system-Galentine's Day on February 13th. You can catch all the Galentine's Day unboxing on this thread ~♥Galentine's Day Exchange 2022♥~
Also, Happy Birthday month to all the February babies and Happy Lunar New Year! (February 1st).
@RGbrown beautiful! I used to own some Londontown colors. I like the Sedona color; I should pick that one up.
Thanks so much!
I'm really enjoying the Londontown polishes, definitely grab it (and more! 😂 )
Wow, @RGbrown, can't wait to see what you create with all of this!
I do not stamp nearly often enough to warrant collecting as many plates as I do, but that has never stopped me before, so why should it now? 🤣🤣
@RGbrown Great nail product haul! Happy Birthday month to you!
Happy birthday month, @RGbrown ! Sorry about your HBBB trouble; that'd make me not want to buy from them again, too. Sounds like they didn't wanna be upfront and honest about the shipping delay (maybe due to OOS product), hence the "scheduled to ship today" reply. And I hate it when companies split orders into 2+ packages without telling customers. Assuming your 2 missing polishes will show up, of course... if they don't, I hope it's easy to get a refund.
BUT! Those are all some fun polish shades! I'm always tempted to buy soakies to force myself to let remover sit a while on my nails, rather than quickly scrub off polish. Have you used them before?
Yeah, I'm leaning towards nah on ever ordering from HBBB again. They seem to pretty much always have 20-22% off, and they have a few MTs I haven't seen elsewhere, but eh, now I wonder if they even have half of those in stock. Even if my current issue resolves cleanly and neatly with no further trouble, I'd just as soon avoid future hassle in the first place.
I've never tried any sort of soakies/clips before! I've been trying really hard lately to stop scrubbing and just let the remover soak, but I figured this would be a great way to help the process along even quicker, and so far, they really work! This particular brand/model is a bit snug on my bigger fingers (it has been an eternity since I got sized for a ring, but I think I'm about a 9, maybe 9.5?)...they are fine for the minute or two I need them for polish, but if I were soaking off anything that took longer, like gel, I'd be actively looking for another style or brand to try out pretty quickly, as they can get uncomfortably tight, especially if my hands are swollen. They work in a flash though, even with glitter, and I can get 8-9 fingers out of just one cotton ball, so my cotton consumption is going to go waaayyy down too, making these a pretty decent investment. I've only used them 3 or 4 times now, so it's impossible to say if they help reduce staining yet (supposedly scrubbing can make staining worse), but overall, I'm liking my new removal process, and while I won't go out of my way to rebuy this particular set in the future, I'll definitely be keeping some sort of similar product in my stash for the foreseeable future!
@RGbrown Welp, sounds like I definitely need a set of soakies in my life. Adding that to my list of Buy This Thing You Actually Need Instead of More Lipstick.
I feel attacked with this statement. I also busted out laughing 🤣 I mean, I guess technically polish is my kryptonite now instead of lipstick, but that's a bit of a tomayto-tomahto quibble when it comes right down to it 😆 (and if I ever feel comfortable going without a mask again, you can betcha that lipstick will start eating a larger part of my budget again...never mind that I have 200+ that I have barely touched in 2 years now 😯 )
@RGbrown Great nail haul! Happy Birthday month.
