@eshoe I got the idea from one of my fave YouTuber NikkiBeautyBliss. Every year she wraps things she buys around the holidays, and I decided this is the year that becomes my tradition too. I absolutely love that beauty advent calendar idea to use up samples!

I was doing a slow scroll down and thought hmmm, I will have to ask how the berry looks, and voila @SportyGirly125 @rosegoldlovely the pigment is so, so sheer compared to a few other lip oils. This formula is gorgeous, sooooooo much gloss and sheen!

PSA: the Together Beauty Love Lather Moisture Shampoo arrived today and it is much different than the sample I tried. It works just as well, but has a pearlescent sheen and more of a baby oil aroma than  minty-herbal. I will be digging more into this, to see if the formula changed🤔 Most important is that it works, just surprised it deviates so far from the sample.

As an Insider I loved scoring 20% off. I picked up two Briogeo Merry Multi-Masking Kit ft. Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Honey Bear Hair Mask - one for me and one for my mom. That gratis (which I finally got around to) proved to be an easy repurchase and I'm glad they brought the bear back. I would be sad to miss it and am excited to have the others in the kit. I also picked up Obagi Clinical Kinetin+ Hydrating Cream which I tried a sample of from @keana1 and with the ingredients given a thumbs up from @Cyncynn's husband, I splurged with the extra discount.

@blackkitty2014 wow! I've never had a marble-esque powdered blush! I wonder how does it work....

@rosegoldlovely  Nearly all Hourglass Ambient Lighting blushes are marbled, usually with an Ambient Lighting Powder shade. Most are also pigmently challenged for darker skin tones; that's a common gripe about Hourglass. 😄 At Night is one of the newest shades and (in my opinion) the most pigmented by far of them all. It's beautiful. I just swirl my blush brush once in the pan to get a blend of the 2 colors. I think @blackkitty2014 will love it. 🙂

Besides finding a blush shade that's pigmented enough for your skin tone, the other challenge is getting a pan that contains enough of the actual blush color (be it pink red, berry, etc.) vs. the supporting color. My pan of At Night contains less of the red blush color than I'd like, but it still works for me. I have 3 other Hourglass single blushes, plus their Ghost Quad. One of the singles is Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Collection Brilliant Nude which I use instead of concealer to brighten the center of my face.
