Pinpoint Concealer Micro Correcting Pencil shades 10 and 11 - on my skin, these pencils are creamy enough for spot concealing and undereye shadow masking. I especially like how precise I can be with these vs. a tiny brush + concealer. Coverage is on the high end of medium and easily buildable. They blend easily for me and play nice with my bumpy undereye texture. 

Rouge Experience Lipstick Refills, shades Ashes of Roses and Medici - adding 2 more shades of this fantastic lightweight formula to my lipstick hoard, though not the shade I want most (Bohemian Cherry’s still OOS). The refills do work without the refillable case, but I’ll always use the case. 

GWP: Pinpoint Pencil Case - offer me a freebie like this and I kinda hafta take it, you know? It’s vegan leather and a bit larger than I expected. I see Lisa’s still offering it as GWP, though I think the buy-in’s higher than it was when I ordered last month.

Sonia G. By Tesshyu: The Voyage Set - a collab between 2 of my favorite brush makers (Chikuhodo and Sonia G.). I mostly wanted the powder brush for its precision point + diffusing sides; I can get a lotta use out of this goat + squirrel brush. The other 2 brushes are grey squirrel and welcome additions to my collection.

Not pictured: 2 bottles of CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion and a bottle of La Roche-Posay Mela B3 Cleanser.Didn’t really do this for the GWP, but that is a cute little bag.

COSRX Alpha-Arbutin 2 Discoloration Care Serum - a restock. I’ve been testing this since January and it’s working well alongside my other hyperpigmentation fighters.

CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion (not pictured) - restocking my daily face moisturizer.

Good Light Taste of Space Lip Milk - also restocking my daily lip serum.

Peach Slices Redess Relief Azelaic Acid Serum - aaannnd another restock. This is the 10% azelaic acid serum I typically use in the morning. (I use Paula’s Choice’s at night.)

OSEA Ocean Eyes Age-Defying Eye Serum - the 50% discount compelled me to test this. It contains algae, caffeine, a peptide, and darutoside (an anti-inflammatory ingredient), among a few other interesting things. $58 USD is more than I’d like to spend on an eye serum, so I kinda hope I don’t get hooked on this stuff—though I could always use some of my hoarded Ulta points to restock it. 

La Roche-Posay: 

• Mela B3 Dark Spot Face Cleanser (not pictured) - restocking one of my newer usual cleansers. Gets my face clean without stripping or drying the heck out of it, and the light fragrance hasn’t irritated my skin (yet). 
• Mela B3 Dark Spot Corrector Serum - I’ve been asked a few times about this and been curious myself, so I got a bottle during Ulta’s skincare sale. LRP’s serums tend to be heavily fragranced, so I don’t use them. This one has lighter fragrance, but I wish it was scentless. I’ll start testing it later this month. 

Live Tinted Blush Crush Liquid Blush shade Infatuated - couldn’t resist trying a shade. A little goes a very long way, so it’s easy to overapply—but unlike Rare Beauty’s liquid blush, this one’s quite easy to sheer out if needed. It has a very dewy finish. 

Chanel Joues Contraste Intense Cream-To-Powder Blush shade Rouge Franc - a good excuse to use up a gift card. I (surprisingly) don’t have many straight-up red blushes compared to other colors, so I kinda needed this one, yep. The finish is not quite matte; I’ll call it demi-matte, since it does have a subtle satiny sheen without being sparkly, metallic, or cream dewy. It’s very pretty. 

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna You Mist Makeup-Extending Setting Spray 3.4 oz / 100 mL - so yeah, I really need to stop buying all these different setting sprays and just run my comparison test already. 😅 I’ve had a couple specific use cases in mind, one of which involves a comparison to my rockstar setting powder. I should also compare Fenty’s and other brands’ setting sprays to Kryolan’s but honestly, I feel that’s an unfair test—I mean, nothing works better than Kryolan. (I can’t use that spray the way I plan to test all these others; my eyes are too sensitive for it.) 

GWP: 

• Supergoop set of minis - not gonna turn down free Supergoop sunscreen.
• Fenty mesh bag & minis: Gloss Bomb shade Riri, Hella Thicc Mascara, and Cheeks Out Blush shade Peach Face.

I always have a cart built with LE but always get caught up on the shades. This new lipstick seems worth the gamble though, and I am glad you are enjoying it. I hope she adds a deeper fushia too and maybe a blue-based red 🤩

@ThenTheresPoe   Lisa’s Velvet Ribbon shade is a good blue-based red, very similar in color to MAC Ruby Woo. I don’t have Ribbon in the new formula but I’m sure it’s the same color. I’m kinda sad she discontinued Myth, which was a beautiful deep cool red. If you do take the plunge, I hope you like what you bought!

Aw, thanks @ThenTheresPoe ! Ashes of Roses is close to my bottom lip’s natural color (just a bit warmer), so it’s a true nude for me. Somehow it snuck into my cart when I added Medici; I guess it didn’t want Medici to be adopted alone. 😅

Really though, Lisa’s done a great job with this new lipstick formula—and I say that as a fan of her older formulas. The new one’s very smooth, comfy, and ridiculously lightweight on my lips. I hope Lisa expands the shade range. I’d love a fuchsia in this formula.
