I have long wanted a toner from The Ordinary, now I use it, I donโ€™t know, this toner dries my skin so much, but the assistant said that it is suitable for dry skin. Who has ever used this tonic like you?

Re: Dry skincare

@Rakhmatullaeva  The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 8 oz/ 240 mL  shouldnโ€™t be used daily. Glycolic acid is a great exfoliant, but even 7% strength can strip too many dead skin cells from your face if used too frequently. Overuse breaks your skin barrier, leaving your skin very dry, flaky, scaly, and/or red and painful.

Glycolic acid exfoliants, and really any AHA (alpha hydroxy acid: glycolic, lactic, mandelic) exfoliating product, should be used just 1 to 3 times a week, and never twice on the same day. If your skinโ€™s flaky dry, stop using this toner for a while and let your skin barrier heal. Do you use a good moisturizer? Make sure to apply it while your skinโ€™s damp to help boost hydration.

@Rakhmatullaeva That's really great information from @WinglessOne

Sorry to hear your toner caused you troubles
