I am obsessed with fragranced, sparkly body products. (Happily) enabled by @makeitup305 about the Baccarat Rouge sparkling oil, such I love! It was marked as pre-order on Saks. It was delivered right away after all. It’s a pretty light scent, and true to the fragrance, which I don’t always find for these type of products. Also, the sparkles are quite fine and subtle. I love sparkle bombs so could stand for it to be chunkier and more bold, but this is really lovely and great for those who don’t prefer overwhelming glitter, lol. Oh, it does have a nice shaker/pinhole top dispenser that prevents from spilling a ton out at once, which i much appreciate!

I picked up the Coco Mademoiselle body gel a little while ago. I would have preferred it to be an oil, but I’m not in charge of Chanel’s business and creative decisions! While they were only pre-selling the Chanel No. 5 oil, I did want to try it. I can’t really tolerate No. 5, though I always WANT to like it. The body gel is lightly scented and lightly shimmery. I don’t find it hydrating, but will use it along with Coco Mademoiselle fragrance  at some point. No regrets!

Haha! I just did a quick comparison of the Coco Mademoiselle gel and the BR 540 Oil. The Chanel is pretty powerful actually. I had to wash it off since my husband is pretty sensitive to scents and he would put this in the “old lady” category - if only he knew how fresh is Mademoiselle compared to No. 5, lol.

I don’t think he’d notice after if had it on for a while but it was strong at first! The BR 540 is pretty subtle. @Sunnysmom

Thank you good to know @sister13 ! Ha that’s a cackle about your hubs. No 5 has its place in the world but ooh the Mademoiselle is so good! I resisted this but wishing I hadn’t ! Lol I adore MFK Amyris femme!

Haha I have to tell you, he came to bed about an hour after me last night. As soon as he walked in the room, I heard him sniff and he was like, “what’s that smell??” So I played dumb at first and said, I don’t know, what does it smell like? And he said, like perfume. So I said, who, maybe just some lotion I put on. Then he said “ooh it smells so good in here!” I was shocked, haha. So anyway, now I know he likes it. I’m sure it was the Coco Mademoiselle even though I had washed some of it off. 

Whenever I test a new fragrance around him, I don’t tell him, just wear it around him. He immediately notices if he thinks it’s an old lady scent, which is probably 90% of all fragrances. The other 9.9% he says nothing at all, and there’s a .1% (possibly less) when he says I smell good, lol. 

I am pretty sure he put Coco Mademoiselle in old lady category, but now that I think of it, it might be the intense version. I’ll have to test this out soon.

Chanel Allure Sensuelle was one I wore early on and he liked/still likes it.  @Sunnysmom

Priceless @sister13 ! 🥰 I kind of do the same thing - I just wear something and see if any reactions or not. I’m sometimes surprised with what he will comment on too. I don’t wear many different scents so I’m afraid that’s one of the reasons why. If I love it tho, well good luck to him because I’m probably not going to stop wearing it! 😆  Sensuelle is so pretty! That’s prob a fun memory for him and you both! Love it 😍. “Old lady” seems to be a common denominator amongst them doesn’t it. 🙄😂

Yes, that’s the go to description for anything he doesn’t like, even if it’s a light, delicate scent or whatever, haha. @Sunnysmom

Yes!! I really appreciate you notifying me or I am sure I would have missed it!  At some point on Osaka, all the MFM was 20% off, maybe price matching?? I’ll have to remember that for any time I need to restock on my BR 540 Extrait! @makeitup305
