Josie Maran Pink Algae Pro-Retinol Body Butter for Anti-Aging and KP 6 oz / 177 mL is a repurchase , I love how hydrated my skin feels when I use this.

#Necessaire body wash is new to me; I am looking for a fragrance free body wash.  Will let you know what I think after I use it.  The rest are foils and GWP.

@caitbird thanks, I think i will use the body butter in the winter and then switch off when the warm weather returns due to the retinols in it.  I sometimes forget to apply sunscreen all over.

@CorgiMommy  I love that body wash. It’s so gentle and effective. It’s easy to go through it quickly though. I keep it in my travel bag.

The Lunar New Year Brush - Year of the Horse (2026)

I wasn't able to resist @blackkitty2014 but I'm pretty sure we knew I wouldn't be able to. 😅 Very cute.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Cleansing + Exfoliating Wipes Watermelon were part of a promo giveway (no purchase necessry) during a local store's re-opening. They handed out scratch-off cards at the front door for certain prizes, including select Sephora Collection products from which you chould choose. I chose these cleansing wipes.

I'll use up the full size of my rhode Barrier Butter Intensive Moisture Balm 3.4oz/100ml sometime this week and picked up this rhode Mini Barrier Butter Intensive Moisture Balm 1.35oz/40ml because my skin doesn't want to be without it this winter.  

Also picked up samples of the two products from Tatcha's recently launched Longevity collection - Tatcha The Longevity Skin Strength + Resilience Serum for Visible Firming and Smoothing 1 oz/30 mL and Tatcha The Longevity Youth Restoring Cream for Elasticity & Brightness 1.7 oz/50 ml.

They really do a great job year after year @haleyvvvv. I've always been pleasantly surprised by the design and how well the brush performs.

Circling back with a few initials thoughts on the Tatcha The Longevity Youth Restoring Cream for Elasticity & Brightness 1.7 oz/50 ml, after having a chance to use it a handful of times, as part of both my AM and PM routines. NOTE: There's currently a deluxe-sized sample of this cream available as a promo gwp with $30 minimum spend.

Consistency:

• Gel-cream that falls between the Tatcha The Water Cream (mint jar) and Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream (purple jar) moisturizers in its weight and to some degree, its consistency as well but for the latter, I think it's more in between the old version of the belif moisturizing bomb and the Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream.
• Interesting texture/ consistency - unlike a traditional gel or cream, product doesn't automatically scoop/lift onto the pad of your finger with a simple swipe of the surface of the product. You have to dig into it, almost like the "break the seal" of the Jones Road balm (but with a scooping action at the end to pick up the product).

Scent:

• Very soft, subtle; a mix of something herbaceous and citrusy
• Has a spa-like quality to the scent, not like a lavendar scent but more like a ... lemongrass type of scent
• Scent does not linger; in fact, I couldn't smell anything even as I was applying it across my face - it was only when I brought the product to my nose to test for a scent

Performance:

• The product melts smoothly upon contact with the warmth of my skin and spreads easily across my face. I notice a slight light/brightness to my complexion as I press the product into my skin.
• Also noticed a bounce to my skin so I can see how its claims of improving brightness and elasticity could ring true with longer term use.
• Absorbs quickly but it does take some time to aborb completely. I noticed on a couple of occasions (once by happenstance and then another coupel of times when I was specifically testing for it) that I can feel the teensiest bit of the product on the skin even 2 hours after applying it. I wouldn't say it's "tacky to the touch" as I've often characterized some moisturizers or serums (serums in sheet masks) as the adhesive/grippy type feel is much less pronounced, but it's there. It's not uncomfortable - I wouldn't describe it as a film or residue that you can feel sitting atop your skin throughout the day; I noticed it only when I pressed the back of my hand against my cheeks to check how my skin / the moisturizer felt. This "grip" isn't an issue if you're following up with something afterwards, like sunscreen, makeup or another skincare product. I haven't tried wearing it on its own in the evenings - when used in my PM routine, I've treated the moisturizer as a serum of sort. The weather has been too cold for me to be comfortable for that. I might try using it alone as my nighttime moisturizer in the springtime.
