It kinda depends on your personal preference. I like precise-tipped pencils over the wider tipped ones. My favorite eyebrow pencil is Kimiko Super Fine Eyebrow Pencil Automatique: it has a drier, lower oil formula than many other brow pencils, so its texture works best for me; plus, the Black Tea shade is my perfect color match, a cool toned black shade. It lasts all day. It won’t melt off my face in very hot humid weather or sweat off during a workout or run. It doesn’t come off unless I wipe it off. 

My second favorite pencil is Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil Waterproof Eyebrow Definer Shade 3.75 This was my favorite until I tried the Kimiko pencil, and I still use it sometimes. I use shade number 6 which is a touch too warm toned for me, but it’s passable. This pencil also performs great: long lasting and no melting/sweating away on its own. 

I’ve also been using MAC Shape + Shade Brow Tint in the darkest shade. This isn’t a pencil, it’s more like an eyeliner brush for brows. I never use the powder tint end. I just use the brush end to detail my very sparse brow tails before going back in with my Kimiko or Benefit pencil.
