here’s my regular fair/medium. This has been a common bag it seems like. Overall I am definitely more satisfied than last year. 

I am always happy to have a Brush though fan brushes are my least used. 

the Hindash is very interesting. I would not have gone out and bought it but I’m excited to try it. 

The Briogeo kit isn’t super exciting in terms of getting to try new things, but I like and will use all of those. 

i feel lucky I got the Wayne Goss Lippie in Poppy. A lot of those type of nude/brown shades do not look good on me and this is one of the few shades from the range that i can likely wear 

I’m excited to try MOB beauty and I got a nice pinky shade of the blush.

I’m not mad at it. In fact, this bag is (to me) better than my previous XL bags. Definitely meets the $75 buy-in, even if I trade/gift a few items. 

This is only the second time I’ve ever gotten an eyeshadow palette larger than a quad. (The first time was also in a regular bag.) [EDIT: third time: I forgot about the Wayne Goss topaz 6-pan eyeshadow palette I got in last year’s XL bag that I traded for Beautopsy.] And this is a palette I actually wanted, hooray! I’ll have to play with it, but I’m confident Monochromance will become a multitasking travel buddy. As with Beautopsy, I can use it for more than eyeshadow. 

Not sure about the ND Bronze Cheek Glow palette. Sure, I can probably use it (for more than cheeks, even). Had I not bought the Hourglass AL tiger palette last year, I might be more enthusiastic about this ND palette. I don't hate it—I mean, I haven't swatched it so I have no idea yet if the formulas will annoy me. But eh, I'm probably willing to trade it for something else. 

I definitely don’t need the Wayne Goss lip pencil because I already have shade Sepia. But I don't already have one of his bullet lipsticks, and Iris looks like it may work well for me. Good opportunity to test this lipstick formula. 

That MOB blush won’t work for my skin tone. I should’ve looked up online swatches before opening it and dropping it into the compact. 🤦‍♀️ I haven’t swatched the blush myself but, just looking at it in the pan, I can tell it’s gonna be too chalky colored (too pale) on me. This is the only place where accidentally choosing "fair-medium" instead of "dark-deep" worked against me. I'd have loved to have a different blush shade that'll play nice with my medium-deep skin tone. 

I don’t need the Good Molecules oil, but I can definitely work it into my face, hand/nail, or body routine. Sea buckthorn oil’s good stuff! 

And of course I’m thrilled to have another Sonia G. brush. This one’s absolutely a keeper: I’ve already washed it and it’s currently drying and fluffing out to its max potential. 

Moral of this story: I should stop buying XL bags and just get regular bags from now on. 😄

Amazing, amazing bag, @WinglessOne!! This was the variation I was hoping for the most. Too bad about the wrong option, but I'm glad most of it will work out (plus I'm sure someone would trade for the ND palette if you decided you didn't want it). Congrats!!

I didn’t officially get an “extra lucky” bag, but I kinda feel like I did since I dodged many “too pale for me” bullets. 😂 The ND face palette would be a highlighter and eyeshadow quad for me. I still don’t know if I’m keeping it… I should just list it for trade already and see what offers I get, if any.

The iris lipstick is a stunning shade.  I ended up with poppy. Smells like a crayon but it’s creamy and comfortable to wear.

Thanks @kennyrae ! Iris does smell waxy. But it's not as crayon waxy as an RMS lipstick: I've had 2 of those and couldn't handle the smell right under my nose all day. Those were worse than crayon smelly... pretty sure one of them had already started to turn by the time I got around to wearing it. Hopefully Wayne's lipsticks have a longer lifespan. Poppy's a very pretty color!

The RMS lippies come out of the factory smelling so waxy, it's wild, @WinglessOne

@haleyvvvv  Yeah, they’re stinky from the start. I don’t buy them anymore because of the smell. Well, also because they feel so heavy and kinda drying on my lips. I wore the Wayne Goss lipstick for 1.5 hours yesterday and it felt better than RMS’s: not lightweight, but not as wax-lips as an RMS lipstick.

@WinglessOne I love the products in these bags. I waited too late this year and missed out. Glad you are are happy with some of your goodies.  The Sonia G brush is always good to receive.

@PrettyPaint  Right? I love how Hindash’s palettes invite folks to mix colors and play at will. With Monochromance, I can probably customize the blue-toned plum powder blush I’ve been looking for.

Thanks @Kim888 ! I think they had a wider shade range to pull from this year. I don’t recall exactly when Wayne expanded his lipstick shades, but it seems like one expansion happened last year. (Still feels weird calling 2022 “last year.”)
