It’s that time again for Beautylish’s Lucky Bags. Which ones are you hoping to snag this year regular $75, XL $150 or are you going to pass on it? Please post pictures of the ones you get. They usually go on sale the day after Christmas and ship in January so sign up to be notified of when they drop on the site and be quick because they will sell out fast.

@lmaster It sold out before regular launch. I think within 30 minutes of launching. Last year they still had the XL for longer than that.

The Beautylish Launch Club app is seriously the easiest to use to get the XL bag right at launch! Hoping the bag is great this year!

I had a hard time getting the beauty app to show the choices...kept having to toggle back and forth. But I do have a question since it's my first time getting an XL. Is it normal not to have a color choice as with the $75 bag? No fair-medium to choose from. Just plain XL. How does that work? Surely gals who choose an XL need a skin color depth choice.

Yea XL doesn’t have a skin tone choice unlike the regular!

How was everyone’s experience last year? I’ve only purchased one lucky bag a few years ago and wasn’t thrilled or disappointed with it, just “oh yeah this is fine.” But since I haven’t made a lot of beauty purchases in the last couple of years (other than skin care restocks) I’m sort of considering it this year.

I got a GREAT regular bag last year, @alexasteph , and it was my first one (Hourglass and ND palettes, a Wayne Goss brush and a beautiful Linda Choo lippie plus a makeup bag and good molecules product). Most of the bags I saw I would have been jazzed about but I like the mystery and excitement!! There's always trades as well.

@alexasteph It really depends on the person.  I actually loved all the Lucky Bags I received.  Last year was my first XL bag and I liked what I got.

@SportyGirly125 Thanks. Just as a casual observer it seems some years they are really great and everyone is pleased, and others are generally underwhelming. I’ll probably go ahead and treat myself to it this year. I got a regular bag last time. My heart says XL this time though hahaha.

@lmaster This is also a tradition I won't be giving up even if the bags are underwhelming most years. Did you get the XL bag? I missed my email notification by 10 minutes but was still able to grab my XL on the app 🙌

I love the thrill of ordering and receiving a bag, but I do find them overall disappointing. It is also always a bit painful to either see or receive a terrible bag or to see a really lucky bag.

Just thought of lucky bags after looking at that new pat McGrath bridgeton collection. That’s gonna be busy day of shopping. I’ll go for xl bag.

Definitely looking to get one. We'll see if they let Canadians get the XL. If not, definitely the smaller one, as long as there is no Jeremiah Starship products in the regular bags like last year.
