Try to avoid hairspray if you can and opt for a hair gel (for curly hair) instead! Squish the gel onto wet hair after you’ve applied other products and combed your hair, then let your hair dry with the gel mild. When you hair is dry squish you hair some more and the gel cast should come off. Hair spray can cause more frizz and damage but hair gel is a lot healthier for you hair and will make it look and feel more natural and soft

I have dark brown hair that was recently dyed blonde and I don’t have any hair damage yet but i’ve been leaving in the Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair mask overnight once a week and i’m in love with it. I get my hair wet in the shower then I apply a little bit of olaplex 3 in my hair to give it strength. After that, I saturate the rest of my hair with the briogeo mask to add moisture to my hair. It’s one of the best masks i’ve ever used.

I have fine wavy and very frizzy hair. I have been looking for some light weight hydrating products that won't weigh down my hair. Just something to give it that lightweight healthy bounce. I have tried Paul Mitchell skinny serum in the past and it was too heavy for me. I got a sample of Verb Ghost Oil from Sephora and even thought it is thicker than the PM skinny serum, it feels lighter but more moisturizing than the skinny serum. I have only used it as a finishing product for shine and frizz control on my dried hair though. I am thinking of trying it as a serum before drying my hair and worried it might weigh down my hair. Would someone share their experience please? Also, is it lighter than the Morocconoil light treatment?

@prettyface524 When I finish washing my hair I will put a leave in cream (Oribe Creme for Style) for the top of my hair and then for the middle to bottom part I put in a serum (Frizz Ease Extra Strength Serum and I will let it it sit on my head for 10-15 minutes).  After the time has passed, I will towel dry my hair off and then spray in leave in hair conditioner and add hair oil to my ends.  Also make sure you are using a shanpoo and conditioner that is targeted for frizzy hair.  I find this helps a lot. I have frizzy wavy hair too.

@MelissaColaLeon I know your pain!  The first thing I rec is wearing is hoodie with the hoodie up and pulled tight.  This actually works well for me - and I only have a short walk from my car to work. But, there are also products that can help.  I use LIVING PROOF - No Frizz Humidity Shield every day and while it isn't a miracle worker, it definitely helps and I wouldn't want to be without it. I've also found that styling products help a lot.  I rec a silicone serum; my fave is Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum.  I also rec It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product.  If you flat iron your hair, I can tell you that I've had tremendous success with heat protectants with alcohol in them b/c of the hold. Hair oils are also great.  I use Matrix Oil Wonder (I think it was recently discontinued) after I style my hair.  BUT, I use ALTERNA HAIRCARE - Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Dry Oil Mist when my hair is frizzy and it calms the frizz much more than any other oil (and I must own about 5 different ones).  I like to spray it onto my hands, and then distribute. I've also found that my frizz will ease if I give my hair a quick dry with the hair dryer.  I know this might sound quirky to do at work, but if I were in your place I know I'd definitely do that in the bathroom or in my office every day. Best of luck!

Hi there @yourstrulyliliy! I totally understand your struggle. In order to achieve perfect, frizz-free curls, I like to get some help from some hair products. When my hair is still damp, I like to put Living Proof's No-Frizz Cream (I use a quarter size amount since I have long hair). After that I blow dry my hair until it's fully dry. After it's dry and ready for heat, I coat it (but focus on the ends) in Bumble and Bumble's Invisible Hairdresser's Primer. I then curl my hair and voila, it is frizz-free! To seal the curls without the crunch, I like to finish off my hairstyles with Living Proof's Flex Shaping Hairspray. I'm unsure if this hairspray helps with frizz BUT it does help hold my styles for the entire day. I hope my routine has helped you and I hope you incorporate it into your own curling routine. I have linked all of the products down below for easier access. @nikonluvr Start with a sulfate-free shampoo.  I rec Pureology Hydrate.  Next, use a moisturizing conditioner.  My fave is Biolage Hydrasource Conditioning Balm.   For styling treatments, you will likely benefit from a silicone serum.  I like Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum.  I also use it with Phyodefrisant to give my hair slip.  It's a Ten Miracle Leave-In Product is also a must-have! I also use Living Proof Humidity Sheild. Hairs oils, hair masks and dry shampoos are also helpful.  Tag me if you want rec's for those!  Good luck!
