I have tried a few brands at the reccomendations of others and can review them from worst to best. Love Beauty and Planet: My hair felt like straw. Words cannot describe how bad this was. My hair was straw like, greasy, and refused to curl properly. I despised it. Pantene: Bad, it lead to frizz and pain. The only good thing is it removes acrylic paint from pajama pants and furniture. IonCurl: This was bad. It didn't frizz like Pantene, however my hair did not curl properly. Treseme: Not as bad as pantene or ioncurl. If I have to I can survive, but it is not the best. Davines: This is where the jump in quality is. It was actually good, and my hair does not mind it. Did exactly what it claims to do. Loma: Somewhere between Davines and DevaCurl. The price point is better than both of them and it does what it advertises. DevaCurl: I will straight up say this is a good product. My hair really likes it and curls well with it. It does a good job of providing definition and lowering frizz. It is expensive. Shea Moisture: My personal favourite. It is fairly affordable, has a wide selection, and my hair LOVES it. It encourages definition, curls, volume, and eliminates frizz. A little goes a long way and it smells gorgeous. I get mine from Shoppers Drugmart, however, Walmart and Sally's Beauty also have it. My hair adores this stuff and it is one of the most ethical hair products that I have found, which is an awesome bonus.

If you follow The CGM (Curly Girl Method) try glycerin free products in summer. Works wonders for me! I use a Denman brush to clump my curls after product application, then carefully scrunch the hell outta my hair with a T-shirt. A lot of curly girls stop using brushes of any kind, so you could probably try a widetooth comb if that’s your preference, but I don’t get the same results. Good luck to you! There’s a lot of CGM groups on Facebook, and great influencers on Instagram.

Has anyone experience excessive shedding of hair after Olaplex 3 treatment??I thought it was a coincidence the 1st time, but it happened after the 2nd and 3rd tx.I used it weekly x 3, and the hair loss after the 3rd treatment is noticeable.I will not use it again (and only used about 2/3 of 1 bottle). No hair scalp itch or redness, to suggest an allergic reaction.
@Rochalle What styling products are you using? It depends on the weather (read: Humidity) but usually a but of hairspray on the top 1/3 of my hair and/or a light styling gel or mousse does the trick for me. With dry shampoo in the mix it's hard to say though since my hair gets more frizz the more I touch it/ move it (curls) so applying dry shampoo would be a problem for me

Good leave in conditioner or styling treatment?Re: Good leave in conditioner or styling treatment?
@Madimcadams @SportyGirly125 is right; Oribe makes some great products. I love their hair mousse. It makes my hair smooth and curly again. But, I usually have to use a leave-in conditioner in addition to any hair styling products, and I have used Ouidad's Moisture Lock for years. It has a soft scent that seems to kind of get along with Oribe's scent, actually. It has the same effect on my hair as Oribe's mousse, but my curls are looser and lighter. https://www.sephora.com/product/moisture-lock-leave-in-conditioner-P242145?icid2=products%20grid242145roduct

Opinions wanted: I need to decide between two seemingly amazing clean hair products. I need it primarily to fight frizz--I have dry, lightweight short hair that becomes a frizz-ball very easily. The two products are Briogeo Farewell Frizz Leave-in Conditioning Spray and Reverie Milk Anti-Frizz Leave-in Nourishing Treatment. I've been using Living Proof's PHD overnight perfector, but I need a more natural product. Also, I find that products I apply after drying my hair tend to work better (than applying while damp). If anyone has tried one or both please let me know your thoughts!!

Best hair products for wavy hair in humidityRe: Best hair products for wavy hair in humidity
@byJoJoYo I love the Ouidad Advanced Climate Control line. They have a detangling spray, two gels, a styling cream, and wave spray, so a few options based on your preference of styling product. I use the VitalCurl mousse all over, then scrunch the lighter hold gel through the lower half to define the wave.

Id suggest you make an appointment with your doctor and have some blood work done. Have you recently undergone any hormonal changes, perhaps started the pill? Have you been ill? Gone on a crash diet? Such things can play into how our hair looks. Anyway, visit your doc to make sure all is well and in the meantime be sure to drink lots of water and eat good and healthy. A deep conditioning mask will help a little but you need to get to the root of your hair problem. Good luck.

Story of my winter life... you might be in the same boat as me...i wash my hair everyday because i can't stand having products left in there or city smells when i go to sleep. No matter how much conditioner, masks or leave-in sprays I use, i can't avoid it. It gets worse depending on what i wear too.I carry around an unscented dryer sheet, it's really the only thing that helps for me (and also try not to brush/touch my hair during the day)

@Masturbine I like to use LIVING PROOF - No Frizz Nourishing Styling Creamon my damp hair after I comb it and this product doesn’t require you to blow dry it. On dry hair, I like to use BUMBLE AND BUMBLE - Hairdresser’s Invisible Oilto tackle frizz on my styled hair.
Hey, I'm wondering if there's any anti frizz hair product that doesn't needs to be blow dry afterwards

I’m new to the beauty community when it comes to hair care. I have naturally thick straight hair & at the top of my head it’s always a bit frizzy because of the shorter strands like baby hairs. I want it look more sleek so it doesn’t always looked like I rubbed a balloon against my head. I’ve tried using gel before and it might have just been the brand I used but it made my hair feel greasy. I’ve tried lightly spraying my hair with some hairspray and brushing the hairs down and it was so far the best method but throughout the day my hair started to frizz back up. Does anyone else have this problem or any suggestions? Thank you!
