What does Vanilla Perfume smells like?

I personally hate wearing perfume something that I smell like a cupcake but I don’t want to smell vanilla either so does anyone know what vanilla smells like in a perfume

@Stella179 It sounds like you're asking for a vanilla that isn't sticky sweet.

I'd suggest

• Mona di Orio's Vanille has a lovely green opening and is not a gourmand
• Chanel's Coromandel, although this isn't a straight up vanilla 
• Frederic Malle's Musc Ravageur has gourmand vibes but it is a little dirty and not at all like a cupcake
• Diptyque Eau Duelle, not too sweet and easy to wear

@Stella179 philosophy Fresh Cream might be one to look into.  It doesn't have that vanilla extract smell, but it also doesn't smell like a cupcake.  In the 90s BBW made a body spray call "Vanilla Mist" (not like their sickening sweet "Vanilla Bean Noel") and the philosophy is like a more sophisticated EDT of that.  Not that I expect you or anyone else to recall that particular BBW body spray!  Good luck!  🙂
