@KarleeCooper, Due to IFRA and EU laws, any fragrance house in the EU and 95-ish% in the USA only use synthetic notes in place of animalic notes (musk, civet, ambergris). So, pretty much anything you find in Sephora, Harrods, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Macys was not derived from animals.

 

In regards to testing on animals, I am personally not familiar with fragrances being tested on animals, only makeup.
