Floral/woodsy fragrance for 20-something?

I've been searching for over 1 year now to replace this bottle of discontinued aerie perfume - I received it as a Christmas gift years ago and it's been the only perfume I've really loved and been able to wear consistently - it's very light and I know it doesn't overwhelm those working nearby, etc. Notes I remember from this perfume were freesia and musk (there may have been a citrus in there as well).

I hate walking through perfume departments in stores because the smells overwhelm me (& often cause me to sneeze) and so do most perfumes. I don't know much about notes, but I do know that:

• sandalwood seems to be the one that irritates my nose the most
• I don't like powdery scents (smells like my grandma - comforting, but not how I want to smell)
• I don't like anything overly sweet

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

How about Tom Ford Cafe Rose? It is floral, it is a bit of patchouli, slightly saffron and a bit of sandalwood. I know you don't like sandalwood, but it is not really noticable for me.

You can also try out layering English Oak and Hazelnut and English Pear and Fressia from Jo Malone. Making something that fits your likings.

I'd also recommend testing scents by Tocca, Jo Malone and Atelier Cologne.
