Sephoria 2024…..will be in Atlanta, Georgia. Who will be attending this year?  I won’t be able to make it again this year 😔

SEPHORiA is a global annual rendezvous specially created to celebrate the world of beauty. Starting in Atlanta (Sept 27-28th), in person events will also take place in Paris (Oct 4-5th), Shanghai (Oct 24-27th), and new locations Rio de Janeiro (Nov 1-3rd) and Dubai (Nov 6-8th).

@itsfi HAHAHA. I was just saying I hope they do it in Vegas. Sometimes smallish sidewalks, lots of foot traffic, might slow you down 🙊

So true. Or, I’d just use it as an opportunity to practice weaving through the foot traffic quickly? Hahaha! Vegas would provide some good venues I imagine; it could be warm and toasty that time of year; not the hottest it gets, but still warm. @Samtian

Definitely one of my favorite memories of the trip @heartsmyface, in large part because it involved hanging out with some of my favorite people. 🥰

All the pics from SEPHORiA are reminding me that I still need to go through my swag bag. 😆

I looked forward to your recap @itsfi and it was/ is amazing! So many fun memories and stuff you all did! What was your favorite Sephoria experience besides the fun company, shopping, eating etc of course?! Oops i just read your favs below! Thanks for sharing it all with us! 💞

Awww, thank you @Sunnysmom, that’s good of you to say. My favorite experience at this year’s SEPHORiA were the masterclasses. I really enjoyed them. 

The booths were fun and it was great to see brand reps and founders from last year and reconnecting as well as meeting new ones. I also enjoyed being able to try on or test products; it does mean that I have a longer wishlist for myself. Ha!

Excellent recap @itsfi !  I agree that this was definitely an experience that you kind of want to keep experiencing, so yes, sign me up as a Lifer, too @missjeanie.  The energy there from everyone working and the brands was fantastic.  They really make it a great experience.

@danielledanielle, SEPHORiA is one of the things I look forward to every year - in part, because it's an opportunity for me to spend face-to-face time with some of the BIC beauties here who I've been blessed to know, and in part, because it's such an iconic event and experience! It's been such an amazing experience year-after-year. I love seeing the evolution and growth of the smaller or emerging brands, both generally speaking, but also how their presence at SEPHORiA changes (or doesn't change) over the year(s). For instance, loooove being able to engage with the founders of the brands. They have busy, busy schedules and for them to be here at SEPHORiA and so present and engaged with the attendees, kudos to them!! I mean, I had opporutnities throughout the time there to retreat (to the couches on the floor or the VIP lounge) and give my introverted self <<go ahead, peanut gallery, laugh at my "introverted" assessment of myself>> a break. They were ON the entire time. Much appreciation.

A 15-minute walk to the Sepora store. I went in the evening when the temps were better. I'm just going to say for the record that "gently" is all relative. 😩That uphill part didn't feel so gentle.😅 

 

My stats going to Sephora. There may have been a few occasions when I took some liberties when using the crosswalk. Okay, maybe 4 times. 😬 

I slowed down my pace and followed all directions for crossing.

@itsfi Do they have gentle uphill's where you live? My times there I feel they did not lol.

Oh, I'm with you @Samtian; I don't think the uphills are gentle at all. 😜 Some are definitely better than others. This one that I took was probably one of the better ones. I just put in a couple of coordinates for particular stretch in the financial district where the uphill is most definitely not gentle - the map makes it look like it's a straight shot and technically it is in the sense that it's just a handful of city blocks but the directions make no mention of a couple of steep uphiill grades. I remember walking up one of those blocks after an event; I took off my heels and put on flip flops. I made a call to a friend as I was walking up the hill/street to my car and I remember him asking "are you at the gym?" Noooo, I'm walking up this really steep block. Serves me right for electing not to pay $$$ to park in the parking garage. Lesson learned.

@SportyGirly125, thanks. I don't feel bad; well, maybe with myself about having to eat my words. Or, if there was hurt feelings about my walking speed, then I would feel bad. It's all good - just some ribbing among friends and a realization on my part.

@danielledanielle 😂🤣. I can’t help you @itsfi  I agree you are a very very fast walker.  I can compliment this wonderful trait of yours cause you ran… errr I mean ´walked’ us to all the good booths right away and saved us a lot of lining up
