Would lash serums work on my monolid eyes?

I have very thin, short, Asian lashes and was wondering if I should try a lash serum and which I should try.  My eyes are also monolids and my lashes grow/point down so would it be worth it?  Could I also try false eyelashes?

I’ve never used lash serum but two mascaras have been working great for my Asian lashes. Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara Black has been my holy grail.
