What colors to pair with green eyeliner

I just purchased a green pencil eyeliner. I normally wear black, brown, and sometimes purple eyeliners. What are the best eyeshadow colors to pair with the green? Should I stick to neutral colors? For reference, I have light brown eyes. Thanks!

Okay, now honestly: I typically wear green makeup every time I ever wear makeup as it’s my favorite color. Depending on the shade and vibrancy of the green you’re sporting, you could pair it with these colors to compliment your eyes and the green itself..

Orange

-goes great w/ green. They’re both secondary colors that will compliment your light brown eyes well.

Purple

-Another secondary color that could be used as an accent while green is a dominant color. Ur eyes will pop forsure.

Red

IT DOESNT HAVE TO BE CHRISTMAS

-if ur going for something graphic this is great.

The contrast of the colors would be bold.

Brown

-if ur green is khaki, you can’t go wrong with a brown. It’s what makes that color intermediate.

Blue

-the two colors are next to each other and make for great contrast actually. With blue being the primary that makes secondary green, it’s bound to be complementary.

@Llamamama2 I agree that you can pair the green liner with many colors, like neutrals, browns, coppers, purples/plums.  What green liner did you purchase, btw?  I've been wanting a green liner, but can never find the right shade.  They are either too black, or way to vibrant of a green.  🙂

Hi @Anonymous7. It is Sephora contour eye pencil, I think in the color good mood. They had several really nice green colors. It’s waterproof as well. I can’t tell you how it is yet because I’m still waiting for it to be delivered. But it got good reviews.

Green is such a wonderful color that goes with almost anything; unless you went wild with something like a bright lime or mint, I consider green to be a versatile "non-neutral neutral" that will pair well with practically any shade you throw at it. The only real question is how much color you're willing to use, but blues, greens, purples, pinks, reds, yellows, copper, bronze, silver, or even basic neutrals would all be stunning with green liner. 😍
