Tips for oily lids

Hi All!

Looking for some tips and suggestions on my oily lids.  I live in a hot humid area, and love lining my top lids with some black liner.  However, within a couple hours, my liner smears and I have accumulated a smeared line at my crease (I have double eyelids).  Any advice?

Try a good eye primer (especially fi you can find a mattifying one) on lids and at lashline. Set lids to brow lightly with translucent powder. Then, after you have lined your lids, either set that with a little powder too (use a small slim eye brush) or set you liner with matte black shadow using a fine liner brush. I used to always set my liner like that, when I worked in a fast food restaurant and the very air was full of oil form the fryer!

ETA: just read in another thread that Smashbox eye primer works well, but you need to let it set. I'd say that's good advice for any first makeup layer!

Thank you! I’ll give that a try! ❤️
