Running Eyeshadow

Not sure if this happens to anyone else, but every time I put eyeshadow near the outer edge of my eye, my eyeshadow pools there no matter what primer I put there. Does anyone have tips to prevent this? Thanks in advance, much appreciated!

Re: Running Eyeshadow

Hi @theltdot ! I experience this sometimes, it’s very frustrating! In my case I believe it happens due to a natural divot in that area and because my eyes water from sensitivities and allergies. The best solutions I’ve found is to use a peach corrector in the area, set with flesh colored shadow or face powder, so it can be brushed away if it happens throughout the day. When using dark shadows, I do the shadow first, then clean that area with a pointed Cotten swab and micellar water, then apply the corrector and powder.

You can also try adjusting where you place your shadow. I’ve found if I bring my shadow almost, but not quite, to the outer edge of my eye that this won’t happen. I hope some of this helps!

Thank you so much for the tip, I'll try it out!
