Raccoon eyes- help!!!!

Looking for a hack or some advice- no matter  what mascara brand I try (expensive or drug store) I get terrible smudging blow my eyes on my cheeks. When I smile my cheeks come up and touch my eyelashes which I think is part of the problem, but what can I do to try to avoid this transfer of my mascara onto my upper cheeks? I do not use mascara on my lower eyelashes. After I put moisturizer on I will take a little make up remover and remove the moisturizer from under my eyes to try to help with it but it honestly hasn’t helped that much. I do use Laura Mercier setting powder under my eyes in an attempt to help with this but it hasn’t helped much. Thanks for any help!!!!

Hi! Sephora BA here! Have you tried tubing mascara? I like to recommend it to clients that have issues with mascara smudging! It won’t come off unless you gently remove it with water and your fingers! Blinc has a really good one that I’ll link here! Blinc Original Tubing Natural Definition Mascara

Wait, you say you do not put mascara on your lower lashes but that when you smile your lashes touch your cheeks??

Do you curl your lashes? That might help, as well as using a waterproof mascara.

I use L'Oreal Telescopic waterproof.

@ccmomtofive Wander Beauty Mile High Club Mascara Jet Black has been amazing as far as not budging, even during hot summer days, for me. I also swear by mascara primers like Lancôme Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Primer .18 oz / 5.5 ml .

Hello! I used to have this problem a lot but two mascaras recently have worked without transferring. One is Benefit Cosmetics BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara  and the other is Lancome Lash Idole. I would also recommend using an eye primer like NARS Pro-Prime™ Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base  under your eyes to try to prevent transfer. Good luck! @ccmomtofive

that is the worst!! I typically get some sort of transfer, nothing has been foolproof for me. I use mascara on my lower lashes and I don’t have an issue for whatever reason. 

i use primer all over my face and apply it after mascara. i use smashbox photo finish matte primer. i carefully put a little on a Q-tip and put some where my lashes will touch when i look up, smile etc. i know smashbox has a lid primer. ive never used it, but im curious if it would help!
