Mascara for sensitive eyes?

Hello! Iโ€™m pretty new to the whole Sephora community but I am not new to makeup in general. Iโ€™ve always had a lot of trouble finding mascara that does not make my eyes water and sting. Too Faced worked for a while, but I just donโ€™t have the money to keep buying new tubes every three months. Iโ€™ve also tried Theyโ€™re Real in brown and that is generally good, but still a little on the expensive side. Do any other people with sensitive eyes have recommendations for mascara that is affordable and delivers a nice pigment in either brown or black? Iโ€™d prefer something in a tube, since cake mascara isnโ€™t as good for dramatic looks.

iโ€™ve had the same problem i use the glossier lash slick now and i know you canโ€™t buy it from ulta but it is the best no madder how much i wear it never gets clumpy. i also love the milk makeup kush mascara. it only takes one coat so you wonโ€™t be running out of it super fast like other mascaras.

Re: Mascara for sensitive eyes?

@Anonymous -- you might want to try ELF Mineral mascara-- it's gentle and super black. Wet-n-wild also has a natural mascara, Mega Protein, that is nice if you aren't sensitive to soy lecithin; I think these two are under $5 apiece!

Re: Mascara for sensitive eyes?

@Anonymous i hear you, i used to love the Roller Lash mascara, but then it started itching my eyes and i couldnt use it anymore. Also, im pretty sure they changed the formula, because it didnt curl my lashes like it used to.

Its sad when companies that gets super popular because of one of theyre products later change to a cheaper formula.

I do not use high end mascaras anymore, most dont work any better than less expensive ones, or when they do, they do for some time, but as time passes after the tube is open, the formula can change, and then it makes the mascara less effective.

It happened to me with the "It Superhero" mascara; 3 weeks after it being opened, it wasnt good like it was on the first week, and over time it got worse and just wasnt good/effective anymore.

Right now im using the L'Orรฉal Telescopic Waterproof mascara, it doesnt itch my eyes, also, i always curl my lashes before to coat them and it works really well.

@Anonymous I agree with @FullCoverageBB !

Re: Mascara for sensitive eyes?

Hi! @Anonymous

I would recommend the Essence Lash Princess Mascara's (only $5! Available at pretty much any drug store and Ulta.)

Have a great day, sunshine!
