Mascara flaking no matter what I switch to

Anyone have some good mascara recommendations to avoid flaking and smudging? I live in Los Angeles where its pretty much always hot and makes the smudging/flaking worse. I've tried Smashbox Full Exposure and DiorShow which are both supposed to be non-flaky. Any other suggestions??

I've been loving the L'Oréal lash paradise mascara. It is volumizing without weighing down my lashes I live In Northern California so I know what you mean. The heat is no joke and my mascara doesn't flake off when I wear the lash paradise. And it's only $9.00 at max

I live in LA also, and I use Better Than Sex or Bobbi Brown mascaras. Love them!

I LOVE Tarte lights camera lashes! It still flakes a little, but much less than other mascaras. And it makes my eyelashes look so full and long!
