Liquid eyeliner tip dries out all the time

Why when I buy an liquid eyeliner it dries out at the tip but not the entire bottom there’s still liquid in there but the tip is so dry I end up doing thick eyeliner instead of skinny liner ????? 
what should I do about it should I throw it away and buy another one or buy something different ?

Reminds me of all the felt tip markers at work @BerryQ. Have you tried storing it tip-side down? You can also try running it under hot water to try and warm up and loosen the eyeliner enough to saturate the tip again. Give it a few minutes under water then a few strokes on the back of your hand to see if it’s performance is back up to par.

@JoSometimes I have not tried anything you said I will try putting them upside down and try the water tip thanks.
