Eyelashes in the way!

I love my liquid eyeliner but when I am putting it on, my eyelashes always get in the way and cause me to have bumpy, uneven or missed spots! And no I don't use mascara before my eyeliner lol.. my lashes are just long and kinda thick. Any ideas?

@lisanewo Long lashes in the way? I wish I had this problem lol. Have you tried holding the lashes down with one hand while you apply the eyeliner with the other? Another method could be looking down into a compact while applying your liner.

Haha! I usually end up using a pencil ( (but I don't like how it goes on and always smudges) instead of liquid because it rarely goes on smoothly! I have but it seems like the hand I use to apply it gets in the way! I don't know.. maybe I'm just very uncoordinated! Lol.
