Eyebrow help?

Hi. I have full eyebrows and I feel like every time I try to fill them in they look like someone drew them on with a sharpie but at the same time when I don't fill them in my makeup looks unfinished. I use the ABH Brow Wiz or the NYX Brow Pomade. Any suggestions on how to make sure they don't look sharpie-like?

RE: Eyebrow help?

I have full and thick brows too. This is what I do.Just outline them with your brow pencil or pomade and then brush/blend it out so that it looks more natural. Maybe also do a few strokes on your brows to fill them in a bit but not too much. I hope this helps

Re: Eyebrow help?

My very favorite brow product is charlotte tilbury legendary brows. It fills in sparse areas nicely but still looks complete natural. The wand is the smallest I have tried, so it allows for a lot of precision.

Re: Eyebrow help?

Have you tried just using a coloured brow gel product. I had been using ABH and/or too faced light powder and brushing it out with a spoolie and then applying a clear gel. I much prefer the Benefit Gimme Brow gel I'm using now.  It was a sample at checkout and I was amazed how much better/more natural it looked and easier it was to apply. You can buy a travel size for 16 (there is no savings to buying the larger size). It keeps me from looking washed out but also saves me from looking like I have evil/angry brows. giphy

Re: Eyebrow help?

@dorabl Are you actually drawing an outline and colouring between the lines, or are you drawing little "hairs" to fill in the places that could use a little bit of help? I use light, short strokes to simulate little hairs where my brows are sparser, and the comb it all out with a spoolie.

For natural looking brows, I prefer a brow pencil (like the brow wiz you're using) to a pomade.

Also, is it possible you're using a shade that's too dark? I have jet black hair but have never used a black brow pencil. A dark cool brown looks best on me (my current favourite is actually Sephora Collection's waterproof brow pencil in Midnight Brown).
