Desperate for an extraordinary mascara

PLEASE HELP ME!!!! 😮

Im in desperate need of a mascara that will lengthen, curl, and give volume all in one formula. I'm looking for a dramatic look, as I am one who doesn't like natural looking lashes. I have in fact been recently experimenting with falsies, however, they are a bit overbearing. If anyone has any suggestions whatsoever for a mascara that's going to make my eyes pop, where people will double take a look just to see my eyes, I would appreciate any feedback greatly! My eyelashes are sparse, medium length, and semi staring with only a slight curl.

This is my face with absolutely no makeup or mascara on. I'm hopeful that the pics will help people give better suggestions. I want very long, dark, voluminous, (possibly with a curl) spread out beautiful lashes without having to wear falsies. I've tried

Thanks in advance 🤗

Re: Desperate for an extraordinary mascara

I love the benefit mascaras @Mascarahunters

Benefit Cosmetics Mini Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara Black

Benefit Cosmetics Mini They're Real! Lengthening Mascara 0.14 oz/ 4.0 g

And

Lise Watier Mini 24 Hrs Glam Intense Mascara

MILK MAKEUP Mini KUSH High Volumizing Mascara 0.13 oz/ 4 mL

But I think it depends on what brush style you like and what works best on your lashes.

For getting a big impact I like to do my mascara slowly, by holding my lashes up with the wand for 30 seconds at thier base before lifting it up. And using tiny zig zag motions as I gently lift and pull it through. If I take my time, pulling slowly as I lift and wiggle the wand through my lashes, I get better coverage and seperation. I don't want to have to do more than 2 coats ever or the mascara can get to clumpy or heavy. If I use more than 1 pass with the wand it's just for trying to do touch ups.

I hope this helps and you find a good mascara for you!

Re: Desperate for an extraordinary mascara

Yes I do love my benefits mascara. I love lash roller and they're real together. I go the same movement as you with the slow zig zag motions. I do hold my lashes at the base for a second but not as long as you do. I'll give it a try! Thanks so much🪷

I hope it helps @Mascarahunters

I haven't tried the new mascara from benefit but it is sounding pretty promising too 😉

Re: Desperate for an extraordinary mascara

So after much research, "try on visualy" (which is useless), chats with specialists from different "beauty" stores, in person discussion with makeup specialist and also product tests. I have found a pretty good combination of 2 different mascaras. Unfortunately I cannot get the results I'm looking for with 1 mascara alone. The 2 the I love together are Bambi Oversized Eye mascara by L'Oreal (believe it or not) put on first, with the second layer using Fantasize by Patrick Starrr. My other Favorite combo is Benefits Lash Roller and They're Real. Those both make great pairs. My current look is with the Bambi & Fantasize and my lashes are dark, dramatic, longer with a curl and the volume is just right. Looks like I'm wearing falsies! I did try on all the mentioned mascara from Courtney, and out of all of them I think Fenty was my favorite. I still think what I've got is a better match to what I'm looking for. Thank you, and I'm always looking for the perfect mascara, so please don't stop sharing your feedback ❤️

Re: Desperate for an extraordinary mascara

Aw man, you can start many arguments by asking people their favorite mascara! Haha!  I will recommend a few of my absolute faves.  For note, I have very light (blonde) eyelashes and they have no curl.  MAC mascaras are fantastic (stack mascara can take any look from natural to glam) and the extended play mascara is all I use for the bottom lashes.  It's heaven.  Here are some of my Sephora faves:

1.  Clinique High Impact - love the brush on this one.  I can get into the corners and really build.

2.  Benefit Fan Fest - the brush is also great on this one and it builds really well for that dramatic look.

3.  Tarte - Tartelle mascara - It's a tubing mascara.  They tend to hold curls really well and also wash off better.

4.  Fenty - Hella Thick - this is exactly what the name says, thick and it's great for dramatic lashes.

If you are looking for something that holds curl super well, go water proof or tubing.  But tubing is more lash friendly when it comes to removing makeup.  I stack mascaras as well.  I will use Clinique and then the fan fest on top for a really heavy look.  Also, a mascara primer is always great.  Lance's is one of my favorites.  Hope this helps!
