Contact-lens-safe waterline eyeliner?

I used to be able to wear eyeliner in my waterline no problem years ago. Now when I try, my contact lenses get dirty and I can’t see. I take them out, clean them and put them back in and repeat this all night. Ugh! Anyone got a good black eyeliner I can use in the waterline that won’t get on my contact lenses?

Ughhhh!!! I came here for the same reason! I have been using black on my waterline for at least 20 yrs and now all of a sudden I get black spots on my contacts within a few hours of applying. If I try to clean them, they just end up blurry for the rest of the day. The UD Perversion was the blackest black but was the worst on my contacts, I had to throw out 2 pair. Then I tried Marc Jacobs blaquer after reading recommendations, but still the same, 2 black dots on both contacts that are hard to remove! Why has this been happening?

It's so frustrating because I too used UD perversion for a long time with no issues. Upon doing some research I found that this one works for me:

I’ve never had any problem with urban decay eyeliner and I’ve worn it for about 15 years. I use the regular not their waterline one. I wait until you can get a 2 for one pencil pack around the holidays. Makes it more cost effective.

I never had a problem in the past with UD liners, but now they make my contacts a foggy mess that I simply can't clean off. 😞

Idk about a black eyeliner, but I'm also a contact lens wearer and I like using the milk makeup gel liners on my waterline. I use the shade BCC which is a nude color to make my eyes look bigger and it never transfers to my contacts. Hope that helps!
