Can they be covered!?

I have terrible under eyes and they canโ€™t be covered Iโ€™ve tried concealers and they donโ€™t work! Please help

Re: Can they be covered!?

I agree with a corrector @laurensc13. I love and use BENEFIT COSMETICS - Boi-ing Brightening Concealerbefore Too Faced Born This Way Super Coverage Multi-Use Concealer with Hyaluronic Acid Natural Beige . This combo is the best Iโ€™ve tried. A little goes a long way. You just need a dab of both then set it with a powder. I recommend Hourglass Ambientยฎ Lighting Finishing Powder Dim Light with a damp sponge. This powder has a beautiful reflect that will actually bring your eyes forward and brighten the area even more.

Can they be covered!?

Concealer isn't the weapon you need to combat dark under-eye circles; but don't completely ditch that concealer yet! To lighten that eye baggage (which most of us carry) you first need to apply a color corrector. You'll quick see that color correctors come in all sorts of crazy clown colors. To know which color will help you, you first need to determine what color your dark undereye is; then, look at a color wheel (uploaded for your convenience), find your undereye color, and pick the color that is directly across the wheel as your color corrector. For example, my dark undereyes are bluish, so I use an orange color corrector to cancel it out. If yours are more purple, you'd use a yellow; for red undereyes, you'd use green, etc. *Side note: green is great for covering red blemishes, like acne or rosacea.* If available, adjust the shade for your skin tone; so if you need an 'orange' color corrector, fair skin could do a more peach, medium skin more orange, and dark/deep skin more umber or red. There's only ever one shade of green; we just accept that. With the color corrector, apply to undereye; you can tap it on with your finger or dab with a small blender sponge. Note: don't completely blend this into your skin; it's not going to match your skin tone and it's not supposed to - it's going to stand out and look funny but let it. Next, set it with a setting powder. Now bring that concealer back out! Use the concealer to cover the clownish color corrector till your natural skin tone is back in action. Set concealer with a setting powder. Apply foundation like normal. Boom! Undereye baggage out the door! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Can they be covered!?

I use Urban Decay Under Eye concealer along with Kat Von D's setting powder. I have a purple hue under my eyes so the medium neutral works for me. I hope this helps! Try looking into red, purple, or green color correctors for under your concealer or foundation.
