100 Shades of Eyeshadow Challenge

Inspired by @Samtian 's new year's resolution and the 100 Days of Lipstick Challenge started by @snoflakefaerie ! I thought it would be fun to do the same thing with eyeshadows!!

I have so many eyeshadow shades I never wear!  The 100 days of lip challenge has really encouraged me to branch out! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to make my way through my whole collection using different shades each day! Share some eye looks or swatches - whatever's easier!

It is, it was a very cute holiday release right? @peculiarzmakeup  I was gifted this by a very thoughtful coworker. 💝🎀 I will say I like the effect of the shimmers. Very everyday wearable, they don't go on to intense. I like the effect but hard to capture on a picture. 📸

That is so neat! And I have trouble capturing some eyeshadows on camera too it has to be like the right angle and timing which is hard to do at times ❤️ @CynthieLu

I knoooo, sometimes it's just impossible. @peculiarzmakeup I will say, I felt a tiny sense a victory catching this in the light. 😉

The Pallete is Palleting (the eyeshadow went everywhere) 

I really like this Pallete though I was a little nervous about bringing of my Pallete on a plane so I grabbed this one here. 

Eyeshadow is so fun

💡if anyone has any recommendations to help with creasing that would be highly appreciated, sometimes it kinda splits in one area of my eye and I’ll try to get it all covered and for some reason it won’t

Hum, for creasing. Are you using a eyeshadow primer? ( Also if you are, are you giving it time to set?) And are you tapping the excess powder off your brush before putting it to your eye? To much eyeshadow can make blending it in more of a challenge.  @peculiarzmakeup

I’ve never used primer I’ve learned something new today is there any you reccomend thank you for your help I appreciate it very much! And ahh I didn’t think of the tapping! These are great I must get a primer 🙂 @CynthieLu

@peculiarzmakeup primer is a game changer! Right now I use concealer, and then set it with a setting powder and then apply my eyeshadow. I have pretty oily lids.

There could be other factors, every shadow formula is different too. I would say try building up the color lightly and see if that makes a difference, and yes tapping of the excess powder each time is a really good habit imo. Prep is everything, if your using moisturizers in that area try using a little less and giving it time to sink in before applying your eye makeup. 

My fav primer is NARS Pro-Prime™ Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base Original but there's lots of there are lots of there. @peculiarzmakeup
