100 Shades of Eyeshadow Challenge

Inspired by @Samtian 's new year's resolution and the 100 Days of Lipstick Challenge started by @snoflakefaerie ! I thought it would be fun to do the same thing with eyeshadows!!

I have so many eyeshadow shades I never wear!  The 100 days of lip challenge has really encouraged me to branch out! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to make my way through my whole collection using different shades each day! Share some eye looks or swatches - whatever's easier!

Ooh that's a good question @peculiarzmakeup I think I'm still trying to get comfortable and familiar with all the colors in this palette. I can't say I have a favorite yet but I am loving the more sheer shades the most right now, especially paired with a nude or neutral palette. 😃

@peculiarzmakeup, do you have a favorite season when it comes to makeup? Color-wise or otherwise?

That’s a great question, I would say fall and winter, I like a lot of browns, greens, and red shades.  have a lot more cold weather attire and it helps as a reference, I wear black mostly, sometimes blue, and occasionally greens and browns or greys. I will have to map it out it may be fun to make a chart for the seasons.  @itsfi

Hmmmm…. my makeup generally stays the same year-round. I probably change it up the most with my lipstick and nail polish the most, and maybe blush this year. My eyeshadow shades sees minimal changes (more about undertone and depth of color than actual changes in color) but this could be the year I go outside of my comfort zone - we shall see. In past years, I have used more color eyeliners and mascara and I did just pull out some oldie but goodie color liner so I may also bring those back into my looks. This conversation has been a good one - thank you! 

For clothing and accessories like shoes and handbags, I’m more fall and winter, in terms of color and styles, generally speaking - I love the jewel tones - burgundy, emerald green, sapphire blue. And black, navy and grey are staples for me - I like beige conceptually but it’s not always the best color on me clothes-wise (as my niece lets me know from time to time, 😆). But I do also love spring dresses and open toed shoes. Summer flip flops I do year round. 🩴

I love that. I tend to lean towards the same products sometimes but I really like this idea of weather related. It is a great conversation! I feel like it allows room for trying new things and seeing what fits for each season and I think it would be so neat to see what other factors come to play! Color liner would be fun! What colors do you have? I used to wear purple I think I might challenge myself to create a look with it. Thanks for the inspiration 🙂 @itsfi
