Inspired by @Samtian 's new year's resolution and the 100 Days of Lipstick Challenge started by @snoflakefaerie ! I thought it would be fun to do the same thing with eyeshadows!!
I have so many eyeshadow shades I never wear! The 100 days of lip challenge has really encouraged me to branch out! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to make my way through my whole collection using different shades each day! Share some eye looks or swatches - whatever's easier!
Day 54 Eye shadow challenge: Holiday Smoky Look!
Pat Mcgrath Blitz Astral Quad Iconic Illumination. I was kinda disappointed with this one. ๐ I loved 3 colors and didn't like the 4th color in Blitz Bordeaux. First off, the positive about this quad is even though it is shimmery, there is no Fallout. I love that! I really like the Brown shade as a perfect smoky eye look. I was worried the high, harsh crease line would accentuate my hooded parts but it doesnt look protruded. Maybe due to the brown matching my brown eyes?
On the other hand, the Boardeaux color took a long time to build up with a brush and fingers. You can only see it with my eyes half closed.) This time, I just used a shadow primer and the brown as the transition shade. No mattes on this eye look. I am liking brown smoky looks!
Inner Corner: Astral gold Allure
Inner lid: Bronze gold 003
Middle/Outer: Blitz Bordeaux
Crease/Outer: Blitz Brown
I love the brown smoky eye look youโve created @Buootiful ๐ and that pop of burgundy is really good. I can see it โค๏ธ
Thank you! It's not fantastic but no fallout! Maybe Im not into Burgundy anymore. @KehDee
My favourite shade (teal), beautiful mermaid vibes ๐ @idanyd
