Inspired by @Samtian 's new year's resolution and the 100 Days of Lipstick Challenge started by @snoflakefaerie ! I thought it would be fun to do the same thing with eyeshadows!!
I have so many eyeshadow shades I never wear! The 100 days of lip challenge has really encouraged me to branch out! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to make my way through my whole collection using different shades each day! Share some eye looks or swatches - whatever's easier!
You look great @kel70 👍🥰 and did a great job. Natural there’s no such thing lol 💋
You seem to be into a lot of different eyeshadow looks. I'm wondering if you could suggest a few different palettes or shadows for me. That November Rouge 20% off is coming and I want to take advantage of it. I'm not into super bright looks or too much glittery, sparkle looks. They don't compliment my 50 year old eyes at all. While I am not opposed to a bit of shimmer, I do prefer a more matte look. My eyes are a hazel green and sometimes they change to a grey hazel. I'm pretty fair, 1N1 in Estee Lauder Double Wear and lean toward a cool, neutral undertone. Any help, from anyone would be appreciated. BTW, I love your eye looks, 2manyperfumes!
Today I pulled out the Blood Sugar JSC palette. Along with my pretty easy black liner by Clinique.
Another very pretty look!
Love those shades on you @2manyperfumes ! But then again, every shades and combos look good on you! 😊
@MlleJuju @See the shade candy (hot pink) and root canal hot purple 😳 I’ve yet to play with them. 🤢 I don’t think they’ll work well on me unless I just use them as a liner.
@2manyperfumes Funny: those are my 2 favorite shades in this palette! 😄 Oh well, we cannot like everything! I'd say, for me, colours like yellow mustard, burnt orange and similar shades don't work at all. Or real dark colours.
Thank you @MlleJuju ❤️, I’m not a big pink shade fan in the cool tones (fuschia, magenta, bright electric purple. Baby blue shadows, I’m not thrilled with them on me.
Are the Jeffree (is that how you spell it?) Star eye shadow palettes as good as everybody says they are. I almost bought one, but his childlike packaging always puts me off. I don't know what it is, but I feel some kind of way when I see his products. The packaging reminds me of that child makeup kit we got as 8-9 year olds to play with. No offence to anyone who loves JS, I like him a lot as well. It's just a first impression and first impressions count for a lot when you are trying to market a product to the masses. I've heard his concealer is really great too. I wish Sephora would carry it. It is nowhere to be found for sale here in Canada.
The one palette I do have is excellent @kel70 ❤️, Blood, Sugar. I like it’s packaging. I agree because aesthetics are important. I love the shades in the taco, burger palettes but although it’s cute I didn’t want a pan shaped like a 🍔 😂. If I were to see it in person I might change my mind but yes his stuff is the childhood candy, treats, playful and super bright. I know I love his liqulipsticks and everyone says his concealer and highlighters are amazing. I haven’t tried those products. His stuff can be bought online in Cdn. $ from Beautylish. That’s where I ordered from and had no issues.
Thank you @idanyd ❤️ 😘 the shadows are beautiful and nicely pigmented. Not as soft as menagerie or Melt but still quite heavy. I think I put 2 videos using this pLette on my IG and YouTube. (I group them as blood sugar and some form of coffee lol) every time I work with them. Lol themed
I love this look @2manyperfumes ! It looks fantastic on you
The new Carli Bybel palette made me want to use my old BH cosmetics Carli Bybel palette and Colourpop through my eyes palette
Some pictures of the palettes
@lmaster ,
Shimmery Peach look! So pretty!
